While an elegant and graceful race, rumors circulate that they have a darker side hidden from the rest of the world. Since losing their immortality, they have not adapted to losing their kin at this rate. Most call them a dying race as they are not procreating enough. Even worse, night elf females are sought after as breeding slaves as their wombs are compatible with any species. Children born between a night elf female and a male of any other species results in a child which is 100% of the fathers race, making females who give in to the taboo of interracial sex branded as race traitors.
