Chapter 4 by AeylinFaith AeylinFaith

Story:

Niery's trouble

Niery had always been the adventurous type, if trouble wasn't the one to find her it was her that would find trouble itself. She could not live without it and it wouldn't exist without her.

If you'd ask her she wouldn't be able to tell you what it was that drove her to do these things other than pure curiosity and excitement. She loved the thrill of the hunt.. and to be hunted. It was something she couldn't stop herself from doing even if she had wanted to. And if she hadn't made enough trouble yet she would swiftly find a way to do so. There was something about being put in her place or facing the consequences of her actions that kept her coming back for more.. often a mutual benefit for everyone involved.

Whether she was the one that pursued her 'victim' or it was her being the one to be pursued she would naturally get herself into trouble, although she would often simply make it seem just so.. she prided herself in making her captor appear the victor and discover her helpless state as if it where against her will.. she was skilled enough to avoid most of her predicament but she had other goals entirely.

Her body wouldn't last a day without going into heat or a rut, She would count herself lucky if she'd last more than an hour at times..

Today was a day like any other as she scavenged the wilderness for wild game or 'trouble'. If possible she'd offer her services to earn both.. Many of her fellow hunters were happy to exchange some of their captures in exchange to a little stress relief.

She'd made her way deep into the forest closer to the mountains, it was rare for her to venture this deep but somehow she had not stumbled into anyone or anything within the last hours.. It was awfully quiet and uneventful.. and the ache in her loins started getting to her. [12]

She decided to push deeper and find a place to camp overnight if she had to. She couldn't come back with nothing. Her funds back in the village were dwindling and the local townsfolk wouldn't come close to scratching the itch she'd been having..

[3] After another hour of nothing she still hadn't discovered anything, through the forest canopy she could see the sun had started to set as what little light made it through was far less than it had been during the day, and from experience she knew it wasn't from the clouds. Besides, the sky had been clear all morning as she'd made her way to the forest.

It was time for her to find shelter and preferably soon while she still had some light to work with. She still had enough water and rations to last her for the day and night but she'd prefer not to rely on those longer than she had to. [10] After a while as night began to fall shed found herself a cave, it could be inhabited but that would mean she'd find what she'd been looking for. If it was empty it would simply prove to be an easy shelter.

She sniffed the air for any signs of wildlife, [12] and determined it to be empty, whilst searching for a shelter shed taking some dry wood along the way to make herself a campfire. She preferred to be comfortable at night and any 'unwanted attention' would simply make the hunt easier.. whether it resulted in food or other.. The thought aroused her hoping someone or something would simply ravage her in her sleep..
