I was beginning to understand why I hadn’t seen this place on any other map before. The island was rather small, smaller than Berk. Although, it had the same characteristics as any other place in the Archipelago: rocky arches, cliffs, beaches. Along the coastline, the mainland was enclosed in a ring of steep rock formations jutting from the water (“sea stacks” Hiccup liked to call them) indicating the island used to be greater in size, but much of it was eroded away as the centuries passed by the tides. Navigating a ship around them would be nearly impossible. Thank the Gods, I had a dragon.

There was a small clearing by a cliffside big enough for Sithis to land on. “There, Sithis,” I pointed, the dragon’s gaze following my finger. He gave a grunt of understanding and made way for the landing.
