Next week

You sat in your seat scrolling through your prepared slides for your upcoming lessons. You were alerted by the door opening and the principal walking in. “Hey Lukas.” He said with a smile.

“Scott.” You greeted him. “What can I do for you?”

“With a few of the PE teachers going away on this excursion, I’m looking for teachers to opt in for lessons casually during their available free periods.” Scott explained.

You nodded along, looking up at him from your seated position. “Can I count on you?”

You shrugged your shoulders, “I don’t see why not.”

Scott smiled and went to the door, “thanks you have Miss Clemons 10A class… tomorrow at 2:30.” He said pausing while looking at his phone.

It was obvious he had already planned for this and was just trying to appear a little bit unprepared. You nodded and waved him off before returning to your computer.
