Next steps and Gift

"So there's a show about women getting into a relationship with a single guy and they all live in a house while he cuts out different women each week or so?"

"Basically yeah. Look I didn't say it was a good show but..., that's kinda how I see it now." Mya explained to the pink gal next to her. She rolled her eyes and shrugged.

"Look I know manga have the whole harem route as a think but I don't think I've heard of a Battle Royal Harem set up. I suppose people will watch anything."

"Yeah..., don't watch reality tv." she turned her attention to Momo now, "So... any thing in those documents about breaking this?"

"It's a lot to take in but yeah, they have a way to break it. Lot of esoteric stuff and things we don't have access to. I'll have to do some research." Momo bit her lip as she read over the document, "And if that dimensional travel machine takes 2 weeks between jumps it's gonna take awhile to figure something out. We'll need help with this."

"Wonderful." She got up with a stretch, "I need to take a walk. But uh..., look I'm not gonna **** or ask any of you to marry to in order to save my own skin. That ain't right. Gran didn't raise me to be someone to toss you under a bus like that."

"I think we should..." Momo started but Mya just started to walk toward the stairs.

"Talk this over yeah probably but... I gotta do something or else I'm gonna go nuts here. I'm gonna go work on the bikes or something to calm down. "

They watched her semi stomp away. It was clear she was angry, they all were, but she was trying to not have a fit in front of them.

"I feel bad for her; she didn't deserve to get wrapped up in this." Ochaco muttered before looking at Momo, "Is there anything we can do?"

"Right now... no. But we'll come up with something." She held up the papers in her hand, "Even if it means we have to do this contract breaking ritual they described. Just... give Mya a bit of time. She's probably not used to this whole thing."

"Someone should check on her in a while though, I don't think she'll do something stupid but...," Toru suggested.

And before anyone could suggest who should check on her(with a few suggesting Toru do it), Momo put her foot down and said they would draw straws about it. Keep it fair after all, at least as best they could.

Turns out the bikes didn't need fixing or tinkering with. They were perfectly serviceable and tuned to perfection, or at least that's as much as Mya could tell. They were normal world bikes or at least proxies of bikes she saw back home but some of the internal componets were different. Nothing major, just needing a few different sizes of wrench or screwdrivers to work with.

Still there wasn't much work to be had so Mya just shut herself in the garage office, toying around with a couple bits and bobs while she looked up a few things on the provided computer. Some people played with fidget spinners, she played with sprockets and gears. It was a habit she picked up to keep her hands busy while her mind was racing; using anything near by to keep her fingers moving.

"Wonder if Gran is okay." she muttered as she looked around the room.

It was a little weird, the garage office was a bit like her father's old one..., only a little smaller. Desk and chair were about the same though; the old worn out furniture still study and having that odd old retro smell to them. The kind you smell when going into an old barber shop or mechanic; the kind that has a history of hard work and late hours to it. It was on the one hand, comforting. On the other hand, the fact they got even the smell down was extremely worrying. How much did Cupid know about her?

"Especially when I never mentioned ANY of this on the website." she thought as she kicked back, putting her feet on the sturdy desk, "And they get ALL this correct but can't even match one gal to another, no no gotta be a group. And not even the RIGHT kind."

It wasn't that she didn't think they weren't desirable but..., to get married to six other women and probably straight or at least Bi. One would think they would match them with a guy that could fit the bill better. After all, the entire gang seemed to be already taken.

She looked into the gang; the nature of their world and their histories. Nothing in depth just a surface level search. It was a world of heroes and villains but just a bit more interesting than your standard story. And each of them seemed to have ties to at least one guy in the story.... though they were interchangeably shipped with the Main character, each other, and basically anyone with a pulse. She never really thought much about it but given they were real now; was a bit weird to do that to people.

Granted now she was in the 'shipped' zone herself.

"My head is hurting." she muttered to herself as she ran a hand through her hair before shifting her body around so she could rest her forehead on the desk, "What the hell am I gonna do."

Something caught her eye as she turned her head. A box that... hadn't been there before with something around it. It looked like a weird haze for just a second. Honestly it looked a bit like glitched code or static but she blinked a few times and the box looked normal. It had been a weird day and a box appearing from no where was sadly some what 'normal' thus far.

"Must be the gift they were talking about." she muttered as she cracked it open. At this point she didn't care if it blew her head off, maybe this would wake her up from this nightmare.

((FYI this gift is probably going to be able to give Mya the ability to shapeshift her body a bit. So this story MIGHT turn into Futa at this point; I haven't decided myself. I have two overhall gift ideas for her and kinda floating which idea to go for))
