Next morning

You always liked sleeping in on Saturdays. A day with no lesson and lot’s of time to study, playing video games or spending time with friends and family. Well, at least it was this way before you and your friends began renovating the mansion. Now you wake up every Saturday either by the sound of a construction tool or Lilly kicks you out of the bed (literally) because they need you for work.

One time you sleepy told her to go away, which resulted in her sitting on top of you with her full weight until you were fully awake. Today around 8 am somebody suddenly pulls away your blanked. You moan and look around today Jenny and Gina wake you up. Both are already fully clothed

“You know I can just kick you out of this house if you annoy me, right?” you ask sleepy and slowly sit upright, “it’s Saturday. Everybody else can sleep in. What is it this time?”

“Breakfast and day planning,” Jenny says and sits next to you on the edge of the bed, “I’m sorry we have to wake you, but we need to start early if we ever want to finish this project. And we need your skills. So, please follow us or we have to call Lilly.”

“I will be down soon,” you reply and stretch yourself.

Jenny smiles and gets up. She and Gina leave and take a short moment to breathe deeply. Why did they have to visit you so early? Their presence in your room made your morning wood even harder. However, you know that Jenny has a reason to hurry so much. Your neighbors are mostly rich people who never moved a finger in their lives and hate your activist group. They sent several complains about noise, waste or violating resting periods. David ensured everyone that you strictly follow the lawful resting periods and that all waste produced is inside your own ground.

Still, the majority doesn’t care about facts or the real resting periods given by law. Some believe they can make their own resting periods and what they say is more important than laws. Others just need a reason complain about you. They all still send you complains, threats from lawyers and sometimes even call the police. But the officers can do little but negotiate, no matter who’s side they are on. Lilly was soon so upset, she decided to do the loudest work as early in the morning and as late in the evening as allowed. The reaction of your neighbors was priceless, but only increased the hostility in the neighborhood. Since you can’t work on Sundays or very late, you have to use your Saturdays, Fridays and evenings as effective as possible.

While getting dressed, you notice the ring on your finger again. You wore it the whole night. The crystal is red at the moment. You think a moment before turning it green. Can’t hurt to use the ring. You have to fully understand it as soon as possible. Quickly you finish getting dressed and head to the door. However, when you get closer you notice the door is not fully closed and in the next moment you hear somebody running away. Somebody has spied on you while you changed. Was it on purpose or just an accident? You could find out by using the ring. Funny coincident, that you activated it just before this happened.
