Next morning

By the time Kate woke next morning, Jake was getting ready for work. He gave her a kiss "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you." he said. Kate yawned and pushed herself up a little, "It's okay." she mumbled as she kissed him lightly.

"Gotta go hun. Don't work too hard today." Jake said, Kate nodded. "See you later." She waved as he left for work.

Kate showered and got dressed. She quickly ate some cereal and gulped down a glass of milk. She remembered that she had to get groceries today, but the area was new to her and she didn't want to get lost.
