News stories start to pick it up, and Candace has a horrifying realization

"Wait a minute," the woman started speaking, "no need to investigate. It's already front-page news."

And she was right. On the website of the Des Moines Register was the headline "streaker making headways on flight," with a cover story that gave Candace's full name based on her Gamma boarding pass.

"Wow, she took her clothes off on the plane?" the TSA agent read the story, "she seemed so stressed out, maybe she was a streaker who bit off more than she could chew."

Candace was just about to open the e-mail from her college when she stopped and made a horrifying discovery.

She had put her wallet in the main compartment of her checked luggage after taking her driver's license out to show security back at Logan; after security she put her driver's license in her jeans pocket ... and so it was stolen from her back in Boston! Groaning at her further bad luck, and not trying to think so hard about how the rest of her wallet was lost forever, she knew she just had to call the lost and found at Logan and pray to God that her jeans and driver's license were accounted for and could be shipped to her. If they weren't, she knew she had to go to the DMV and get a new driver's license ... once she got clothes, of course.

Thanking her lucky stars that her parents still had a landline, she picked it up and called Logan Airport to see if her jeans were anywhere around.
