New Year Baby !

Old Father Time, otherwise known as Jeff, walked out to good natured jeers. The team were still somewhat disgruntled about having had to work the holiday but Jeff had not been riding them as hard as Debbi, who was the main focus of their hostility. Jeff's address to them was sympathetic and fulsome in its' praise for their hard work, which had successfully delivered the project on time. Angela, Robin and Dominic in the front row turned and applauded over their heads, to also show their appreciation.

Primed by Carol, Jeff was anxious to restore the feelgood factor that had been built up in the team during the year. And so, assuming a Father Time voice that was more Father Christmas, he began a recap of the year just past. Passing briefly over the various business successes, he focused on the fun that had been had. "Few will forget our evening of jet skiing" he recalled, as a screen behind him displayed a team photo taken that evening and prominently featuring Debbi clad only in her bra and pants ! Angela looked at her two colleagues with a quizzically raised eyebrow.

Jeff further recalled the spectacular fund raising at the bikini car wash, once more suitably illustrated with a couple of photos of Debbi at work that day. "And only last week, we all enjoyed a fine Christmas dinner at the company's expense" Jeff reminded them, to the accompaniment of a shot of the managers in Santa outfits with Debbi the Christmas elf in her fishnet body suit ! "What on earth is she wearing ?" Angela hissed at Robin. "And can I really see what I think I can see ?"

Jeff wound up his part of the proceedings. "I think we can all agree that it was a memorable year and next year promises to be equally memorable. Is that the New Year I can hear knocking ?" Carol had been hammering on the rest room door and now opened it and with a decisive shove, propelled a tottering Debbi onto the stage. She tottered because she still had her heels on. Carol had thought of insisting that a new year baby didn't wear shoes but she decided not to labour the point. Otherwise, Debbi was as naked as the day she was born, save for the bonnet on her head, the pacifier clamped between her teeth and a diagonal sash proclaiming 'happy new year' ! Debbi blushed deeply listening to the yells of derision from her team but what lodged most in her ears was the howling laughter of Angela !
