New Year's Eve Party - Part 2
Patrick finally made his way to his target and he turned to Lexie first and hugged her and then he turned to Lanie and gave her a good once over. Her hair was now highlighted in purple stripes and she was wearing what looked to be a catholic school girl uniform or maybe some anime costume. Either way, she was looking hot as well. She wasn’t wearing her glasses either, which was a change.
“Looking good, Lanie.” Patrick said and Lanie blushed a bit.
“Thanks, Patrick.” Lanie said back with a smile.
“I told her she should have done this a long time ago, but she was too scared of what our friends were going to think.” Lexie said.
“And what have you heard from everyone else?” Patrick asked.
“Nothing but good things. I hate to say I told you so, sis.” Lexie said.
“Then don’t. I know I should have done this a long time ago, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it until Chase told me that he thought it would look hot.” Lanie said.
“Well, he’s right. You’re looking hot as hell.” Patrick said.
“Thank you.” Lanie said again, blushing a bit again as well.
“So, the party looks like it is going well.” Lexie said.
“Yeah, it is so far. I hope you both have a good time.” Patrick said.
“Oh we are. So, why aren’t you with your girlfriends?” Lanie asked.
“They're off doing their own thing. I needed to make the rounds to welcome everyone. There was no need for them to follow me around.” Patrick said.
“Yeah, it’s probably better that way.” Lanie said.
“Well, It was good to see both of you. I need to move along. I’ll try to catch up with you again later.” Patrick said.
“See you later.” Lanie said.
“Yeah, see you later.” Lexie said as Patrick left them and went to the next group he found, which consisted of Kelly, Sabel, Sarah Bradberry, and Dawn Sterling.
“Can I get you ladies anything?” Patrick asked.
“Always such a charmer. No, though. We are all good right now.” Sarah said.
“Okay. Just let me know if you do.” Patrick said.
“We will. So, this is a hell of a party.” Dawn said as she looked around at all the students that she was now teaching.
“It really is. I’m surprised your parents let you get away with it.” Sabel said.
“They’re actually the ones who brought the idea up.” Patrick said.
“Damn, Aunt Josie really is letting loose.” Sabel said.
“So, is there anything planned here tonight like some games or something?” Kelly asked.
“Not really. Just socializing.” Patrick said.
“Those are the best parties to have most of the time. It allows everyone to do what they want to do.” Dawn said.
“That’s true. I see someone starting something up soon. You know someone is going to start truth or dare or never have I ever or some game like that.” Sarah said.
“Most likely. My money is on Chad.” Kelly said.
“He would have been my first choice if he hadn’t settled down with Debbie.” Patrick said.
“Do you really think he has settled down though?” Sarah asked with a frown on her face.
“I think so, but I could be wrong.” Patrick said.
“Who’s going to be the first of you four out on the dance floor?” Patrick asked.
“Oh, that’s definitely going to be me.” Sabel said.
“Why am I not surprised?” Kelly asked.
“Because you know me.” Sabel said.
“True enough.” Kelly said.
“Well, it was good seeing you and I am glad that all four of you are having fun. I will see you all later.” Patrick said as he left the group of women and continued to make his way around the yard to welcome everyone.
Patrick then made his way over to his cousin Jasmine who was talking with Kate Storm. The two of them looked to be getting along just fine despite not knowing each other that well. Patrick walked up to Jasmine and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. “How are things going, cuz?” Patrick asked.
“Everything is great. Looks like a good party.” Jasmine said.
“Yeah, I just hope someone doesn’t do something stupid here tonight.” Patrick said.
“Well, Kirk and Chad are here, so there is a 50/50 chance.” Jasmine said.
“True. So, how have you been, Kate? I didn’t get to see you much on the trip.” Patrick said.
“I’m doing good. How about you?” Kate asked.
“I’m doing good. Thanks.” Patrick said.
“Anyway, Kate and I were talking about her joining Ben’s harem. She seems pretty interested in the idea.” Jasmine said.
“That’s great. If you have any questions, I’m sure Sasha could help you out.” Patrick said.
“I will keep that in mind. Thanks.” Kate said.
“Where are your girls anyway?” Jasmine asked.
“They’re around. I didn’t see them needing to follow me around so that I could welcome everyone to the party.” Patrick said.
“That’s nice of you.” Kate said.
“I try. So, I have a question for you, Jasmine. Why did Ben look upset when Debbie and I were talking to him earlier?” Patrick asked.
“I think he is more upset with the Mallory thing than he is letting on. I mean, I know he saw it coming, it just stung when he actually had to end things.” Jasmine said.
“I’m sorry I did that to him. I never want him to be so upset. I will talk to him again at some point.” Patrick said.
“Don’t worry about it. He will be fine. Just make sure not to do that to him again though.” Jasmine said.
“I won’t try to take another girl from him.” Patricks said.
“That’s all I need to hear. Now let me get back to talking Kate into joining Ben’s harem.” Jasmine said and Patrick nodded as he took off walking again.
. . .
While Patrick had been making his rounds, Sasha had found Helen, who was Patrick's cousin and the two of them had started to talk. Sasha had some questions for Helen that she never thought she might have, but it had been on her mind all day and the only better person to ask would be Kendall herself.
“I was wondering if I could ask you a question, Helen?” Sasha asked as the two women continued to talk.
“Sure. What’s up?” Helen asked.
“I was wondering what I might have to do to get into modeling?” Sasha asked.
“Hmm. I can give you a few tips, but I think you will be better off talking to mom. She has semi-retired now, so I’m sure she would be willing to train you and give you all the advice she has. I hear that Jenn is thinking of buying that Exposé site. That might be a good place to put your photos and it could end up with you getting seen by someone well known and becoming a big deal.” Helen said.
“I will keep that in mind and I will make sure to come by and talk to your mom soon. Do you think she would be willing to take pictures of me?” Sasha asked.
“I don’t think she would mind that at all.” Helen said.
“So, Jasmine and I have been talking and we were thinking of a way to maybe get Patrick and Ben back on the same page. I will only go with it if you are okay with the plan though.” Helen said as she whispered the plan in Sasha’s ear and Sasha couldn’t help but smile.
“Let me text the others.” Sasha said and not long after her phone rang and the two had already answered. “They’re good.”
“Good. Well, here Patrick comes now. I will see you later.” Helen said and Sasha waved as the older girl walked away.
Helen met up with Patrick and she grabbed his arm and started pulling him toward the house. “Come on, little cousin. I need your help with something.” Helen said as she continued to pull Patrick into the house to get him to do who the hell knows what.
