Chapter 3 by RedeemerofDark RedeemerofDark

What time of year is it?

New Year's Eve!

A wonderous time of year, the start of a full cycle of the earth around the sun when it hits midnight, a time for celebrating having made it as far as we have and hope for the future with the tradition of promising to do something in the new year that regardless of whether or not people always hold up to their New Year's Resolution is still a promising and encouraging way to convince people to at least try a lot of the time. Though likely not thought of such by most modern citizens and especially those of western origins it could also be seen as a sort of "rebirth", even more so with the tradition of resolutions, to vow to become a new person, a better person. And its significant as the big event of January for the brief time in which its simultaneously the last day of the last year and the first day of the new year. Originally created to honor the god of beginnings and said god that the month was named after to begin with, so what better of a time to take the idea of becoming "A New You" then on the day of it being a tradition to try and be that?

Will we follow someone making a hopeful resolution? A hopeless resolution? Or no resolution?
