New Visitors

After getting home, I put the groceries away then started in on the rest of the place. I had just began to set up the living room when a voice from behind me in the doorway leading to the kitchen startled me.

“I believe that there should be a chair across from the end of the couch, so guests can always see who they are talking to!”

I almost dropped the high back chair, but at the last minute managed to get it in place before turning my attention to the person who spoke. It was a pair of people, obviously a couple who was standing there holding hands while trying to hide a giggle.

He spoke up first. “Sorry, we really thought that you heard us knocking on the front door, so that’s why we came around to the sliding kitchen door and let ourselves in” he introduced both of them, “I’m Shaun Carter and this is my greater half, Mary Meyers”

The names seemed familiar to me, then as if the information dripped from my mind, Two more of the residents that Leah showed me!

I wiped the sweat from my hand before holding it out to them “David Hutson” Shaking Carter’s hand first then Mary Meyers’s “So what can I do for you folk?”

Mary spoke up, “Oh just making sure Heather invited you to a dinner at Mom’s place tonight!” Not sure if she should say what was on her mind but chose to say it anyway. “Heather doesn’t always use her mouth to deliver verbal messages that can be understood through her sighs and moans!”.

“Oh I got her message and eventually her idea of a ‘tip’ also!”

“Yeah Leah said you were fast on the uptake!” Her eyes traversed my body from head to toe, spending a few more seconds on the area between my legs. I didn’t know if he meant for her next thing she said to be heard or not “Damn she wasn’t exaggerating about how you can fill out a pair of jeans!”

“Now Mary, you might be the kind that blushes easily at comments like that!”

“Oh nonsense Shaun, if he was going to blush it would probably be over the ‘Dress is optional clause!’”

I took a chance and spoke up, “Yeah about that, does that mean that it’s okay to show up in casual attire?”

Shaun laughed, “Man! that would be a first!” Slapping the side of his left leg. “No, what that is in reference to is no clothing required!”

“Or at least already open and ready to be taken off!” Mary added while opening the first five buttons on the top she had on, revealing that she wasn’t wearing a bra.

“Now I’m not saying that you’re guaranteed to see these up close and personal but there’s a damn good chance that if you are willing, you're going to see someone’s body up close and very personally!”

Shaun added, “Yeah probably either Margaret’s or her mother’s or if you’re damn lucky both at the same time!”

“Shaun, you forget Allison, Susan, Heather, Leah or me!” She paused to see what effect her words were having on me. “After all, we all usually dine al fresco since we’ll probably be getting warm real soon!”
