How Do Things Go From Here?
New Territory Issues
Yulethiarnia looked over her chambers, they were bare as bones that had been bleaching in the sun for the better part of a week, for the most part. Her treasure chamber, which was a pitiful sight by dragon standards, barely had enough to fill a 30 ft by 30 ft box, and the chamber itself was considerably bigger than that. She had made the treasure chamber 900 ft from wall to wall with 90 feet between the floor and ceiling. On the plus side, all her more interesting treasures were here. Pieces like the Midnight Armor and Halberd of Mighted Warning were difficult to come by, most magical items had one low-tier enchantment in them, the armor had at least 5 different spells woven into it, from what she could tell, and the halberd had two enchantments embedded in it, one was low-tier magic and the other was mid-tier magic, you usually didn’t find multi-spell artifacts that had spells from different base levels anywhere. Those two were nice, but her most prized treasure, currently, was a tool that a mage of any level would kill for just a chance to get a glimpse of, a tool known to the nations here as the Archmagus Staff (she had discovered its name was noticeably different, and the kind of polearm it transformed into gave clue as to its proper name). The name was a bit misleading though, it was more of a polearm with a blade at the end, granted, the blade could be recalled or brought back out with a command or gesture (it had taken her over a decade to learn the proper commands and gestures, something any long-lived race could pull off with little to no concern).
And the rest of her prized treasures were of equal curiosity. But now she needed to restock her gold stores and see if she could build up and pad out a few reserves. What little gold she had in her treasury, currently, was dishes and bowls and plates that likely were used for very special occasions or had a purely decorative function; the silverware was actual silver, though, of course, it was of varying quality from set to set, and some sets even had enchantments poured into them to make sure they didn’t corrode or break due to mishandling.
Yuletharnia needed to keep busy, it kept her from thinking about how much her body was saying how much she needed to get laid. There’s only one way for a dragon like her to come out of estrus-induced desire, and that’s a fucking so good it leaves the dragoness satisfied, she had never experienced such a thing personally, but she had been told by her mother how her biological father had done that and thus prompted the two to be forever mates.
Something that a lot of the so-called enlightened races didn’t get was just what dragons needed to go through to actually get a lifemate. Yes, there were those dragons that basically stayed until the end of the first thing to fuck them for more than 2 minutes came around, but in cases like that, they were likely not overcome by a biological imperative to find something to have offspring with as quickly as possible. To find a lifemate the conditions depended on the kind of dragon, and Yuletharnia’s kind were actually pretty picky about their mates most of the time, they were less picky when mateless during an estrus cycle but still actually pretty picky. The biggest deal-breaker for a long-term mate, when it came to Yuletharnia, was sexual endurance; most of her partners in the past were not able to go more than 15 minutes with her; she expected a long-term partner to be able to go at least a half-hour, the longest any partner went was 20 minutes, even, and even then they were so spent they needed at least an hour to get back up into form, and this was a supposedly energetic young and virile dragon in early of sexual maturity. For Yuletharnia, they need to be able to go for sessions that go a minimum of half an hour with a small handful of minutes to catch a quick breath and maybe chat before diving back into it.
To be fair, her variant of dragon was known for its sexual nature, especially the erotic vigor they usually had with their partners, but even then, all that was next to nothing compared to how they got during estrus cycles. Thankfully, they tended to be very spaced from others of their kind and such a rare sight in most places that they were considered a myth at best and folklore at worst. But people not believing your kind doesn’t really exist only means fewer people are actually looking for your lair.
By humanoid standards, Yuletharnia’s figure was erotic, some would even say salacious, in all the most fun ways. She had an hourglass-type frame, that was a bit on the thicker side of things, with an I-Cup-sized bosom when she was human-size and what some would call a thicc booty; her ass was maybe a third the size of her bosom, and lustfully pink on black and orange indigo scales in addition to a noticeably long articulate tongue, her tail was also are articulate but not to the same extent of her tongue. Her head was adorned with demonic style horns, the kind that formed cute sensual curls two or three times before pointing backwards on her head in a way that somehow complemented the rest of her figure. In short, she was easily the most fuckable dragon anyone could encounter, assuming they met her in her dragon form at all. Her kind naturally have the ability to alter their size and figure, a trait very few dragons seem to display. In short, she can disguise herself any way she wants but usually keeps things within a limit she sets for herself to tone down on the unintentional awkwardness. Her kind naturally has a humanoid design, which means it’s very rare to see them going about as if they were quadrupeds; it’s more natural for them to maintain their bipedal movements.
It was time to go and see what she could do about getting some more gold coins, and maybe silver and platinum coins as well. It had been ages since Yuletharnia had played the part of a robber, she usually did the bit about **** a noble brat and ransom them back to their family in the past, but her personal treasury wasn’t enough to incentivize a random person she “coincidentally” lead to her treasure chamber while making herself appear like a more stereotypical dragon. Her personal resources also weren’t at the point she could feasibly hold anyone hostage for more than a week, at most, and that’s assuming they weren’t a picky eater or required a small feast for every meal. Most dragons hoarded food more than they hoarded treasure, but this lair was literally new and thus lacked any of the resources one would expect to find in or near a dragon’s lair. So, Yuletharnia would have to out raiding and pilfering for a few months, at the very least, before she could realistically try for the dragon ransoming a noble thing.
First on the list, find the major transit and shipping routes and stake them out until a treasure vessel, like a tax carriage or treasury ship, came along and then raid it alone while making it look like a bigger operation than it really was. A single individual operation was also a bit pricey when it came to watching those sorts of things, she would need to pilfer some food before all that happened. Farmlands were usually a good place to snatch up food, but stealing livestock was too cliche and drew far too much attention too quickly, much easier to plunder a butcher’s storehouse when they weren’t looking, if she was fast and quiet enough she could probably make the butcher think they made a mistake in their inventory or sold far more than they had initially thought, but that would mean not getting caught.
As you can probably imagine, Yuletharnia was very much out of practice with all of these, and desperation only exasperated the condition. If she was quick and smart, she was usually more of the latter than the former, then she could play some of her acts off as the work of local bandits, it would be more of a bonus if those bandits had such a nasty reputation they were given a nickname or two by the law, either as a group or one of their members but preferably both. It was time to get to work, but where to start.

Dragoness's Knight
Not Your Typical Erotic Fantasy Romance
Gavin is from a family with a... unique history, the kind that typically gets them shunned by people higher on the sociopolitical ladder the family, strange looks from most common folks, and requests for details from Adventurers (they're considered fringe society individuals). Yulethiarnia is not your typical dragon, she's part of a subset of dragons known as "Demonic Dragon" and this subset is actually pretty rare, the kind of dragon that she just so happens to be is physically weak by dragon standards, normally her subset is physically superior, the kind within the subset she happens to be is actually physically weaker but has other abilities to make up for it. These two odd individuals are about to have their own trials before coming together in a very passionate, and physical, romance. The story will mainly have its chapters split between Gavin and Yulethiarnia, with a few chapters outside those two in order to give context on events and help build the world. And yes, the villains of the story are also pretty kinky, just in some much more cringe-worthy ways or ways that are intended to make some readers uncomfortable. As you can probably guess by the title, this story is playing with established medieval Fantasy tropes, mainly those involving knights, dragons, magic items, and royalty. Once the story is far enough along, feel free to expand the world with other stories that take place in the same world, just make sure that those stories in the same world don't dramatically conflict with this main story. I also have plans to give the story a follow-up story after it reaches a point I think is a decent or satisfying endpoint. Regardless, once it reaches a certain point, I do plan on using this world as a setting for a Mature D&D game, so be on the look for notice on that if it interests you.
