New Student Rulebook Reminder

As Vanessa tried to push her way through the crowd of students, she saw what everyone was looking at. A simple poster that said “As a reminder to all students, the updated student rulebook takes effect today. All rules were sent home with students weeks ago, so there is no excuse for breaking them. We are certain you all will adjust to the changes in no time.”

Reading the poster, Vanessa remembered hearing something about new rules being implemented. However, she had never actually gotten around to reading them. Rulebooks, TOSs, contracts, all of them were just too boring to read, so she would often just skim the words before signing. It was easily one of her biggest flaws. Based on the confused looks on everyone else’s faces, she assumed she wasn’t the only one who forgot to read the new rules. Vanessa just shrugged and decided to make her way to class. The new rules couldn’t be anything too crazy, right?
