New Morning

His body was sore.

That was the first thing that slowly drifted into his mind as he pushed himself up from the bed. Had he slept wrong? Possibly. The bed was a mess so he wondered if he had tossed and turned all night. Wait wouldn't Raven had done something about that? Well she wasn't in the bed herself so maybe she moved to the couch? That or the kitchen. Something was smelling pretty good.

He stumbled into the shower, hosing his sticky body off. How sweaty was he last night? He'd have to check the AC before bed tonight. Still in a haze he made his way to the kitchen where breakfast was ready. Just simple eggs and sausage. He sat down and slowly started to eat, his mind still trying to kick into drive. That's what happens when you spend a night sick and then wake up with no caffeine. Ah there's a cup of coffee there. Good.

"Morning."

"Morning Rae...," He took a long sip of his coffee as the warm fluid ran down his throat, "Don't feel like I got much sleep..., how sick was I?"

"So...., how much do you remember about last night?" Raven asked, leaning forward.

"I remember the... dinner, the dance..., getting sick and a shower and then it just starts... fading." he muttered, a hand coming up to his head as a headache was coming on, "I see jumbled bits and pieces."

"I had a feeling about that. You seemed to be just acting on instinct after awhile. Your body was moving, but your head wasn't there." She got up and walked around the table to him.

"I didn't do anything... stupid did I?"

"Maybe this will remind you. Look at me." Raven ordered plainly.

Cole obeyed, bringing his face up to match hers. There was something in Raven’s eyes but he couldn't really process that intent. He hoped he hadn't done stupid last night. The thought made a small shiver of fear and or shame run up his back. He wasn't entirely sure which one it was. She just studied him for a bit, hoping to see if there would be any relazation on his face. But there was none currently. Well there was one way to try and remind him.

And Raven had made up her mind when she told him to look at her, and she certainly wasn’t about to go back on her choice now.

Raven cupped his chin and brought up as she leaned forward, locking her lips to his. Cole's eyes went wide and his body stiffed inn response while his mind tried to process it. Even as Raven’s tongue **** its way between his lips, gliding inside his mouth to steal a taste. Slowly, he felt Raven’s body lean forward so as to press against his own while his own arms wrapped around her. Raven sucked his tongue, moaning hungrily as she devoured his lips. When Raven finally broke her kiss, Cole had to gasp for a bit of air.

"Remember now?" she breathed out.

The moment her lips had touched his, he did. Hazy images solidified into clear pictures of her bouncing on his cock, her ass quaking with each slam, and the look of pleasure she had on her face. "Sit." Raven commanded as she raised her hand, motioning him to sit back down. He was half out of his chair and sank back into it, "We're closed because of your illness and the festival. So we have the day to ourselves."

"Oh... right... guess that makes sense."

"How ARE you feeling? After awhile you were just on auto pilot." Raven asked before taking a bite of her food, "I was a little worried how you would wake up but when I scanned you after getting up, you seemed fine."

"Feeling..., okay?" He flexed his arm and opened/closed his hand a few times, "I don't feel as twitchy as I was last night. Feel a bit sore given... what we did."

"Mmm, understandable." Her eyes narrowed towards him, "My hips and ASS are still sore."

"Sorry..." he rubbed the back of his head, just a nervous tick he had, "Just... I remember thinking if I was only going to get one chance, might as well make the best out of it."

"Oh did you want to give me something, or someone, to remember you by?" she raised an eyebrow.

Cole was mid sip of his coffee when his brain kicked him into realizing what she meant. It wasn't so much as a spit take though, but he did fumble a bit and had to clean up the table. Maybe get some more eggs due to the spilled coffee.

"Wait..., that..., I mean I guess we didn't use condoms but..., I..."

A glint of her eyes and the smallest amount of an upturned smile clued him into the fact that something else was up. Straightening himself out a bit he continued.

"Okay so..., given you seem pretty powerful with your magic; what IS the likely hood of you being pregnant."

"You are smart on the uptake when you focus. That is something I like about you." Raven said with a smile, as she picked up her cup and weakly tossed it into the air, "Watch."

With a snap of her fingers, the cup was caught by her energy and floated above the table in a bubble of faint darkness. She rotated her hand and the cup did as well. The liquid inside it was unable to spill out due to the barrier. As if to drive the point home, she tossed a few crumbled napkins at it bouncing off without a sound. Her showcase done, she brought it back and to her lips for a sip.

"Now with the visual example out of the way; apply it to the real thing." she traced a hand down to her waist, "It's a powerful barrier that prevents the egg and sperm from ever meeting. So yes, it's impossible for you to knock me up. Well... not impossible...."

"How worried should I be?"

"Your choices would be to either A) convince me to drop the barrier which means I agree to have a child, or B) plow me so hard that part of my mind dedicated to keeping the barrier up fails and the barrier cracks open." She wagged her finger side to side, "And as enjoyable as it was last night; you weren't close to that."

"...Part of me is glad and another part is.... annoyed I guess?" Cole muttered as he pushed some of his food around on the plate.

"Something about 'not being good enough' I suppose?" Raven asked as she took both their plates and took them to the sink. Coming back to the table, she held up a hand to get his attention, "Well you were good enough for this."

Cole looked and saw a glint of something around her finger. Looking down at his own hand he saw it's twin staring damningly at him. He sighed as he brought his hand up to support his chin as he leaned forward onto the table. Raven gave a small chuckle at his plight but to be honest she was a little stunned when she saw it. Not as much, she knew something would happen after last night and Cupid had told them but..., well it was a little jarring to actually see it.

"So... is that game over? Look I.... do like you and last night was enjoyable. It's just the..."

"Whole **** nature of the set up, yes." Raven said as she walked over to him and took a seat next to him, "As for 'game over'...., I looked. There's nothing in the contract about not being able to break it after the consummation. So the plan is still to return to my world for some help."

"There IS possibly one change." she added after a bit.

"Really?" He looked back up at her, noting the smallest bit of flush in her face.

"I told you before, it might take awhile to break this. Weeks, months? Probably not years, not with some of the help I could try to get from the hero community." she stated, keeping her worlds steady, "But..., perhaps we could use that time to see how... this turns out."

"Wait you want to.." she held up another finger to shut him off.

"You ARE... a nice and kind man from what I've seen. And somewhat excellent in bed. However," She folded her arms as her body slowly started to be coated in that energy of hers. A black aura waving around in the manner of dancing flames around her. "I AM a Super hero Cole, and the daughter of one of the most powerful beings in reality. Or at least one of the most stubborn ones."

"I want you to understand that I'm not some weekend girl, or some vacation woman you can get with. I'm not the kind of woman that's easy to woo or be around for long periods of time given my past and my current lifestyle. So the deal is this; we still work to breaking the marriage but if we happen to fully fall in love...., well." She huffed out some air after a long breathe, ".... I would want an actual wedding for one."

"Snk..." he had to cover his face but still let out a noise of enjoyment.

"And what's so funny?" she leaning closer.

".....Who's scarier?" he raised up one hand to start with, "Powerful hot has hell Sorceress with some of the strongest heroes somewhat inside her circle of contacts and can probably turn me to paste with a thought and a wave... or.." he raised up his other hand a little higher than the first, "My mother."

That broke a smile on her own face as she also had to fight to keep a smile down.

"SEE!" he pointed towards her, "Trust me, my mom loves me but she'd probably strangle me if I got hitched without a wedding...., hell she's still probably going to."

"How would she react if we showed up with a child in tow?" a smile finally breaking out on her lips.

"She'd hit me with the car."
