New Day

Chapter 22 by mrdarcydoms mrdarcydoms

Morning light came thin and gray through the windows of the Murder House.

Violet woke alone in her own bed. Her body ached in deep, saturated ways. Between her legs she was still tender. The memory of the night sat behind her eyes in perfect detail: the wet sounds, the Pale Man’s cold cock forcing its way into the chastity cage, the way Ben had screamed when the two lengths were sealed together. She lay still for a long time listening to the ordinary noises of the house. No hum. No watching pressure in the walls. Just the faint creak of settling wood and the distant sound of a shower running.

She dressed slowly and went downstairs.

Ben was already at the kitchen table.

He sat with his shoulders curved inward, hands wrapped around a mug of coffee he had not touched. His face was gray. Dark hollows sat under his eyes. The clothes he wore looked like he had pulled them on without care. When Violet entered he flinched so hard the mug rattled against the wood.

He would not look at her.

Vivien moved around the kitchen in silence, pouring juice, setting out toast that no one reached for. Her expression was carefully blank, but her hands were not quite steady. Whatever the House had left of her last night, the real woman was the one making breakfast now, and she looked as if she had not slept at all.

Ben shifted in his chair and a small, involuntary sound escaped him. Pain. The chastity cage was still locked in place beneath his clothes. Violet could tell by the careful way he held himself, thighs slightly apart, spine rigid. Every small movement clearly reminded him of what was sealed around his cock and what was trapped inside it.

Violet poured her own coffee and leaned against the counter. She watched her father over the rim of the mug. A part of her that still belonged only to herself felt a cold twist of guilt. A larger part, the part the House had fed and praised, only catalogued the damage with quiet satisfaction.

Ben’s voice, when it finally came, was rough and small.

“I need to… I should cancel my patients today.”

Vivien nodded once without turning from the stove. “I’ll call the clinic.”

Silence settled again. The ordinary morning sounds of the house continued around them like nothing had happened. The refrigerator hummed. A car passed on the street outside. Somewhere a clock ticked.

Ben tried to stand and had to brace both hands on the table. Another soft, broken noise left him. He stayed half-risen for a second, breathing carefully, then sank back into the chair. His eyes stayed fixed on the untouched coffee.

Violet took a slow sip from her own cup.
