Alice practically ran back to her closet and began sifting through her stuff. Louis watched as she brought collections of video games, movies, and pieces of her costumes. When she was done, she was standing next to a pile of Louis' favorite items in geek culture.
"So," Alice said happily, "if we're going to bring your confidence up, we need to start slow; find something we both like to do. If we're doing it together, you'll forget all about your insecurity. Hell, maybe you'll forget that you're naked."
Louis was at a loss for words and, as usual, blurted out the first thing that came to mind. "Yeah, but I won't forget that you're naked."
"Well, I'd be kind of offended if you did," Alice said.
Louis couldn't believe his eyes and ears. His crush, totally naked, wanted to have a night filled with his favorite nerdy activities. He was in absolute heaven right now!
"So...which ones do you want to do?" Louis asked.
Alice shrugged. "See, that's the problem. I'm a little indecisive when it comes to this stuff. I like everything, so it's hard to choose. I'll let you play the tiebreaker."
She reached into the pile and held up a few video games. "First, I got a few games we can play together. The new Dragon's Princess came out yesterday, and I got a few classic as well."
"Dragon's Princess?!" Louis asked. "That's been on back order at the store!"
"Well, it helps I did a few voices for the game," Alice said proudly.
She put the games back and pulled out some DVDs. "Second, I have a few movies and TV shows we could watch. I even got extended cuts and deleted episodes for Solar Journey."
"OOH! Like the one where the captain and first mate accidentally go to a nude beach?" Louis asked.
Alice giggled. "Oh yeah! That one's really sexy! That should have totally aired, sensors be damned!"
She put the shows aside and pulled out a red cape and a black domino mask. "Third, we can do a little cosplaying, maybe some roleplay if you're interested. I got a bunch of costumes here I can try on. But I'm only doing a few pieces and not the full costume."
"So, no Supergirl or Wonder Woman?" Louis asked.
"No, I can do one of those," Alice said. "But I'm only wearing the cape or the bracelets. I wouldn't want to break the dress code."
Alice put down the costumes and faced Louis with her hands on her hips. "So? Which one do you wanna do?"
