Nellis Air Base

Madeline moved into a position to rush toward the gate. She studied the paper and the pattern of firing positions that George's paper had written. After some time, enough to ensure she knew the pattern She took in a deep breath. Then ran.

She sprinted to a shell hole. A sudden boom and ear shattering explosion landed nearby. She moved up and rushed to another shell hole. Not even halfway there. She waited for the firing to shift. Then she rushed again.

She huffed and puffed as she sprinted, swinging her arms as she ran over the broken ground. A rush of adrenaline filled her veins as she moved closer and closer. Almost there.

Finally she spotted the chain link fence. The mark of safety.

A sudden rush and she was there. Madeline heaved a heavy sigh, her large breasts heaving up and down after the exertion and rush. The firing stopped. They couldn't risk hitting their own defenses.

"That was close." she said to herself as he moved along the fence toward the buildings that dotted Nellis Airforce Base. She hoped they wouldn't shoot her with small arms when she got closer. She had to risk it.

"How the Hell did you survive that bombardment!?" A voice came from nearby...someone in what looked like a vault suit with extra clothing atop it. Then Madeline noticed the large rocket launcher pointed at her.

"I....I...timed your bombardment. I don't mean any harm." she said her hands raised to show she meant no trouble. "Who's in charge here?"

"I ain't saying shit to you savage." the Boomer guard said, not maybe realizing that if he pulled the trigger they would both be blown to bits "Raquel will be here to sort this shit out."

Sortly a woman in pre-war armor, not power armor but a breastplate of some bullet resistant material, approached.

"I'm Raquel, Master-at-Arms, for the Nellis homeland. Mother Pearl, our Elder--wishes to speak to you."
