Neighborhood BBQ Prep

Sunday was one of the Gonzales family's famous neighborhood BBQ's. They'd been doing them for a few years, and the whole block would turn out. In part, this was due to the fact that the Gonzales's had one of the only pools in the neighborhood.

Maria Gonzales had used the pool parties to become the social queen of the neighborhood. While her husband was happy enough running the grill and drinking beer, she used the opportunity to gossip, rumor monger and establish herself as the undisputed alpha of the town. Her whole family rolled her eyes at Maria's intense focus on neighborhood drama, but she was a stay at home wife and this this seemed to make her happy. Besides, nobody wanted to end up the target of her firey Latino wrath.

"What do you think?" Maria asked her husband as he lay in bed. Her husband looked up to see his wife holding up a two piece bikini on a hanger. "Stick with my classic blue bikini?"

"Maria, you bought that thing in college." Her husband pointed out. "It's probably getting a little worn out."

"Hey, it still fits!" Maria said defensively.

Her husband barely bit back the word 'barely'. Though his wife tried to stay in shape, her ass had more than doubled in size over the years, a fact that she seemed to be in denial about. Still, he didn't mind seeing her squeeze into this old two piece, and he knew better than to argue with his wife. So he nodded and put aside his book, as his wife ran over a list of appetizers for the BBQ...
