Needs of a Dragoness

Being Cynder’s lover? That didn’t sounded half-bad to Josh.

“I’ll go for Needs of a Dragoness.” Josh says, full of confidence, and Cynder smirks seductively at him.

“Yeah, in that case, I’ll be seeing you soon, darling.” She said, winking at him, before she vanished in a cloud of pixels. Right after, everything around Josh changed, with the ground beneath his feet turning into worked rock, and the environment around him changed to make it seems that he was in some old-style city.

Josh looked around as the transformation around him stopped, and he saw himself standing before someone’s door. As he did, he noticed something at the corner of his eye. A bell by the side of the wall was outlined in a blue aura, in a manner similar to how it happened to selectable items in VR videogames. Over it, where words in blue “RING ME”.

Seeing no other point on doing anything else, Josh went forward and rang the bell. It resounded with a long and strong chime. Now that he did that, Josh simple stood there waiting. After all, that is all you can do after ringing someone’s doorbell.

He only had to wait for around ten seconds, before the door opened before him.

Cynder was more dressed than she was a few moments ago. She now wore a stunning green dress that perfectly matched her eyes, and she was wearing a beautiful necklace made of emeralds that also matched her eyes. Speaking of the eyes, they were focused on Josh, and there was a smile on her face as she looked at him.

“You came.” Cynder said, looking at him. “I’m glad. Come in.”

Josh didn’t needed to be told twice, and he soon was walking inside, and seeing that the house was luxurious, but not like being a palace. It actually seemed to be the kind of house where a pair of legendary heroes would live.

“I am really glad that you could come today.” Cynder said, hugging Josh from behind. The human could feel the warmth of her body against his own. It made him blush. “I was afraid that you would have not received my letter.”

“Oh, I received it.” Josh said, getting into the character. “I was really happy for having been invited... So, your husband will be away for how long, this time?”

“At least two weeks.” Cynder said, sounding a bit upset as she spoke that. “The unicorns are trying to advance again, and this is putting the truce with the dragons in danger. Spyro had to go there himself to help keep order while they negotiate for better terms.”

Josh had no idea of what that even meant, as he never heard of unicorns being even mentioned on the Spyro franchise, except in some fanfictions. Still, he went along.

“So, this means that we have the house all for ourselves?” Josh asked, looking over his shoulder, and seeing Cynder’s smiling draconic face looking back at him.

“All of it, my dear.” She said, and Josh looked at the house. As he did, he could see arrows pointing at directions appear on his side, each one with a word in it.

KITCHEN – BATHROOM – MASTER BEDROOM

It seemed that now was the time when Josh had to make a choice.
