Neat room

The room looked unbelievably clean. The beds were made, the curtains were tied the centre with a fabric ribbon, not even a speck of dust. Up along the walls were framed photographs, of jonathan and linda, from their younger days right up to the present. The scent of flowers premeates the room thanks to the air fresheners that sprays a whiff at short intervals. It looked.... Sereen. However, a phone at the computer desk caught her eye. Did he forgot his phone? Or more importantly, is that the phone that was used to send those messages?

She couldnt take it. She dont really want to know. It sent chills up her spine, thinking what to do if it is him.

And so, zoe left the room. Curious, but terrified. Aware, but choose to be in the dark.

Soon enough, night came as the whole family gather for dinner. She somehow manages to whip up some dishes, and jonathan bought some snacks home as well. All the time, thinking if she should consult her husband on her thoughts, but she dint know how. How could she even say that his father is sexually harrasing her? Would he believed her? Whats gonna happen then? She barely manages to eat, but shrugs it off whenever jave asks her.

"Dad, why not we enjoy a drink together? You know, this will the first time with zoe too... What say you dad? Beer or whiskey?" Jave asks

"Boy, you know i dont like any of the beers you drink... Let me bring you the real deal.... You guys sit down, ill go get it"

Zoe knudges her husband, and shows a look of discomfort. She is traumatise by what happened this morning, that jave is still unaware of.

"Jave, i dont think we should.... This morning.... I..."

"Oh come one baby, dont worry. Dad always would bring out that lousy sake whenever someone new drinks with us... And he would usually get passed out the soonest... Its allright..."

Minutes later jonathan came with 2 beers and a few glasses, and a odd shaped bottle of sake, just as jave mentioned. Jave grabbed a beer for himself and zoe, and jonathan pours his sake for himself. Zoe was cautious at first, but seeing jave there with her makes her feel that just maybe this is ok. They had a good conversation and shared stories.

After that, jave heads upstairs, and zoe makes her way to the kitchen to wash the glasses and the dishes. She washes them quickly, wanting to get her sleep as soon as she can.She felt a lil draggy, high, and light. She thought it must be the beer. She really enjoyed the taste, but she cant really drink much, so she had jave to finish it up for her. And he also drank jonathan's sake too. With that combination, zoe smiles thinking that he is probably passed out and snoring by the time she gets upstairs.

"Your cheeks look awfully red dear, are u allright?" Jonathan asks behind her.

"Ohh... Yes im fine... Im just not a strong drinker..."

"Yes, you're not indeed... But you and jave do enjoy beer...."

"Yes.... Its tasty and light..."

"Like the orange juice this morning?"

Time stopped. Zoe frozed.

Jonathan steps up closer to her...

"So....when can i get a taste...?" Jonathan whispered to her ears, as he put a photo in front of her, that she swore she deleted.
