Natalie returns

Natalie strutted back into the room to see Adam crying while slamming his fists on the table he was laying on. She removed the tubing and straps from Adam, feigning concern as she asked, "Whats wrong? I thought you'd be happy right now"

"Something happened...I don't know what..." Adam began, "what would happen if...just randomly...in this instance..."

"Spit it out" Natalie insisted.

"I wish I could..."

"What?"

"Nothing....just, what would happen if Pēnny came in the tonic?"

"What?" Natalie feigning surprise. "How could that happen?"

"I don't know...it just popped up and shot it right into the container..."

"Did anything happen when it fell in?" Natalie earnestly inquired.

"Yeah...it turned white and sticky and it tasted bad."

'YES!' Natalie cheered in her mind.

"Oh no..." she lied.

"What? What does that mean?"

"Its like a wishbone. When two essences have a conflicting desires- only one can win out. And in this instance, well..." she looked down at his dick.

"But whats going to happen to me?"

"I don't know...I've obviously never seen something like this happen before."

Adam reflected over the events of the past day and the intentions of these spirits and the wish that they had been granted...he thought about it and made a tough decision.

"Listen, Natalie...maybe you're right. Maybe I can be happy for them, but I really don't want to be there...here...when they get their way. Can you please, instead, exorcise ME from this body? I'll just pass into the great beyond or the stars or whatever, and they can do...whatever it is that they're going to do."

"Adam...."

"Don't worry. It's fine. This is the best for everyone. I don't mind. I'm actually kinda excited to see what happens after life."

"Adam..."

"Don't feel bad. I won't haunt you or anything. Just please....let's get this over with."

"No. Adam. I'm trying to say it can't be done"

"Seriously?"

"Inherent spirits are connected to the body. They're only released upon ****."

"What are you saying...?"

"You're stuck in there."

"You mean...I have to stick around while these two do...whatever it is they're going to do...until I die?"

"If you die....yes"

"Wait...what 'if'?"

"Do you remember their promises to each other? 'Until the end of time'?"

"That was just poetic hyperbole"

"Possibly...but requests to the universe are typically literal."

"No no no...you must be joking. I came to you to get rid of this problem, and not only did that not happen, they've been enabled to make things worse for me and I don't even have the hope of **** for escape?"

Adam's outburst shook Natalie out of her inclination for sentimentality. Adam was right. What had she done? She basically locked him into this unfortunate circumstances for eternity.

"Adam, I feel really bad about this. Really." Natalie apologized, "To make it up to you..."

Adam looked at her with hope in his eyes.

"I won't charge you for today's session."

Adam's hope dashed once again.
