Nasgar!

It stops than it shakes again then stops again it's as if something huge is coming "shit." "Antonio what is it?" "It's a Nasgar, Delilah quickly go wake up the others." She runs into the cruiser. The Fretook is already up it suddenly bolts into the woods. I'm not even surprised I was surprised it didn't try to kill us last night. Everyone runs out of the cruiser looking ready to fight. We hear the breaking of trees as it approaches suddenly a huge creature reveals itself. It's exactly how I remember Annabel describing it's about twenty feet tall which kinda limits my role in combat it has massive razor sharp claws it opens its massive maw and roars revealing uncomfortably large jagged teeth...and some pretty bad breath as well. Its stands on two legs. Its arms are long so it has long range....but will also limit its offense if you can get close to it but its skin looks plated like armor. "So....anyone got a plan?" I ask in a rather calm voice. "I got one." Titan says excitedly....this should be good. "Lets attack it till it's dead." "Thanks Titan I was just gonna stand here and let the thing eat me." I say sarcastically. It charges us, Annabel wasn't kidding when she said it was fast it wasn't lightning fast but its fast enough to make me sweat. It swipes its massive claw at us but we scatter. Delilah,Amanda and Tina shoot red orbs at the creature they hit but to seemingly no effect. Their stunned usually any thing that they hit with the red light burst into flames....I guess Annabel kinda left that part out. Ok think its skin is covered by some type of armor that's too tough for magic so physical attacks probably won't work either....we need to rip the plates off. The creature takes a another swipe at the still stunned group of spirits. I run as fast as I can to intercept the claw, it didn't take me long since we weren't that far apart to begin with but I underestimated the creatures speed before I can react the claw is a mere inches from me. I brace myself to try and catch the massive claw....not my brightest idea especially with a hand that's not exactly one hundred percent but its kinda the only option to stop it. The claw slams into me I feel myself being pushed back I try to dig my feet into the ground and push back but to no avail. I look back at The girls, "move!" This finally seems to snap them from their state as they move out of the way. I'm relieved but that's short lived as I feel my feet leave the ground as I'm hurled through the air at such **** that I black out for a moment. I slam into a tree but I just go right through it I go through five more before I finally hit the ground.

I feel intense pain throughout my body. I can hear the sounds of battle still going I want to try to get back into the fight but my body isn't responding to anything I tell it to do. "Fuck!" I can't believe this is happening how could I let this thing leave me in such a state....I have **** but to use it I'm sorry Delilah. I begin focusing on the magic in my body...not an easy feat considering my body feels like it just got hit by a train. C'mon focus I'm no good to them like this. Just focus on amplifying my magic. I hear screaming it sounds like Abby. Fuck! Why isn't it working. Suddenly a body falls next to me....it's Tina she isn't moving...."Tina...TINA!" She isn't responding "ARRGGGG!" I howl in pain as I struggle to sit up it takes great effort by I manage to sit up the sight before me makes my heart sinks at the sight Abby is trying to crawl away from the creature her suit is ripped up I see a bone sticking out of her leg. Titan is lying on the ground his arms are bent awkwardly. I look over to Tina. She has a hole in her stomach and blood dripping from her mouth I thought that she was dead but I can hear her breathing it's labored but she's alive thank god. My eyes fall to Zack he has pieces of his fur missing and blood pouring from his wounds. Amanda and kyle shoot magic at the Nasgar still has no effect. The Nasgar spins around so fast that they have no time to react it slams its tail into them their sent careening into the cruiser they hit the cruiser and fall limply to the ground. A exhausted Delilah stands before the beast. She shoots a massive ball of magic at it. The ball explodes on contact with the Nasgar it creates a giant cloud of smoke. I try to stand it hurts even more than trying to sit up but I manage to pull it off. My legs are shaky though if she gets into trouble I can't do anything about it. I try to make my way to her I'm moving at the rate of the sloth...if not slower. Suddenly a claw shoots out from the cloud and wraps around Delilah she doesn't scream her pride won't allow it. The smoke clears and the fucking thing still has suffered no damage. Delilah looks around and our eyes meet I can see the fear in her eyes. "Antonio get out of here there's nothing you can do here." so I'm back in a situation where I'm too weak to help anyone...and now I'm gonna lose the person I love.

..."No."...."I'm not doing that again."...Delilah doesn't respond she didn't hear me. The pain in my body starts to fade I feel magic expanding in my body at an alarming rate. I know my body has a limited amount of time I have to make every second count. I charge the beast not wasting a moment the Nasgar drops Delilah and turns it attention towards me. I jump up and slam my fist into its eye. Blood squirts from its eye I drop back to the earth as it roars at me pretty sure I just made it angrier it swings its tail at me I dodge it. I start swarming all over its body punching and kicking weakening its plated armor. I'm now on its back I shoot for its head I get my hands underneath the armor on its head and yank it comes off blood squirts from the wound. Ok I'm making progress I jump back down to the ground getting ready to attack its legs than my body starts to feel heavy....my time was up. I can feel my organs being squeezed from the magic that is now overflowing in my body. I start to cough I cover my mouth with my hand and feel something hot and wet I pull my hand away to see blood. The Nasgar has recovered from my attack and is getting ready to charge. I turn to see Delilah. She is horrified she knows exactly what's about to happen I can barely move as it charges me it roars I feel my fear rising but I don't want Delilah's last memory of me being a coward.
