Samus remembered Nancy Oak saying she had something for her before she left so Samus walked over to her house. Her Pokedex dinged and she opened it.

There wasn’t any point in pushing this further so Samus headed towards Viridian City, the town to the north. On the way she fought some more Pokemon, getting Squirtle stronger, and eventually made it to the city. A quick stop at the PokeMart netted her some healing items and a bunch of Poke balls, and then she went to the Poke Center for healing.

At the Poke Center a woman in her early 20’s with small, perky breasts and pink hair greeted her. “Hello, I’m Nurse Joy! Are you here to heal your Pokemon?” She asked.

Samus nodded, handing over Squirtle’s Poke ball to the Nurse. She put it in a machine and, a few minutes later, handed it back. “Your Pokemon is good to go! Hope to see you again!” She said before calling up the next person.

Samus walked out and her Pokedex dinged again. She opened it and found another entry.

“Nurse Joy. 0% obedient. Nurse Joy comes from a family of all females. They all decided to become Poke Nurses together and run the Pokemon Centers around the world. There are rumors they are all actually clones. Undetermined. Weaknesses: Unknown.”

Samus pocketed it again, then heading back out. She leveled up Squirtle some more, catching a Pidgey and a Ratatta, before returning to the Center and healing her team up again. Satisfied, she headed north towards the Viridian Forest, ready to continue her adventure.
