Nadya entered the house alone.

Nadya entered the big, wooden building slowly with a bit of anxiety building up inside her. She closed the doors behind her and followed the short corridor leading into the main hall. The room was neatly cleaned and decorated with skins, furs and trophies of wild animals. there were two doors on left and another two doors on the right side of the hall. Floor in the middle of the room was covered by a carpet made out of bear furs stitched together. Opposite to the entrance there was a small rise with a big, sturdy, wooden table, five chairs behind the table and statues of gods behind the chairs.

All of the windows were closed but room was brightly illuminated by big candles places around the room. Table was ready for a feast - meat, bread, vegetables, fruits, beer and mead - everything was served and prepared for celebrations. On the chairs sat five men. The Council. The Elders. They were considered the representatives of the Gods and leaders of the clan. Each one of them depicted and served a different god.

Stribor - the god of air, wind and every flying creature.

Veles - the god of magic and a patron of the **** realm.

Svatovit - the god of all the living, leader of all the other gods.

Perun - the god of rain and thunders, patron of war.

Svarog - the god of sun and fire, patron of blacksmiths.
