NYE: Leah refuses the drink

Leah's mind was spinning from the combination of alcohol and the stranger's closeness. She knew she should probably slow down on the drinks, but it was New Year's Eve after all.

She smiled and shook her head in response to Michael's offer for another drink. "Thanks, but I think I've had enough for now." Michael raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"Starting New Years resolutions huh?," he said with a smug grin.

"Well, not really," she admitted. "I just don't want to end up puking or passing out hahaha."

"Fair enough. Well how about the next dance instead?" Michael chuckled and nodded understandingly.
