NEON NIGHTMARES: Tales from Dream City

Told primarily in a Neo Noir style, this comic is a spin-off of https://chyoa.com/chapter/PANDORA-FLUX.1832645 and centers around the lives and experiences of the various residents of Dream City - a 22nd century city trapped in the 21st century that was built on the ashes of San Fransisco in the aftermath of the 2012 apocalypse.

Despite its name and tagline, 'the Metropolis of Tomorrow', Dream City is anything but as it's basically the answer to the question, "what if Gotham was a city in the Blade Runner universe?"

Now unlike Gotham the crime isn't AS BAD and unlike Blade Runner the people aren't entirely without hope since they got superheroes watching over them and stuff like God and the afterlife is a proven objective fact that everyone - even "atheists" aka, people who for various reasons have turned their back on God cause they think He has abandoned them - accepts as mundane common knowledge.

(Despite its reputation, "I AM" has not abandoned the city. It's actually pretty easy to find God in Dream City as all it takes is listening to your heart and following the techno music until you find yourself standing in front of one of the city's many night clubs and underground raves. Be not afraid, for Anna Ravenhart is in there waiting for you!)

Still though, life here - for hero, villain and civilian alike - isn't easy. Especially if you're a man struggling with loneliness cause they can't find love, where your "only hope" for something resembling romantic love & companionship is buying a Maria unit from ACME - the benevolently evil global-spanning mega-corporation that de facto controls the city.
