NBM model - the briefing

After Loretta and Alyssa's heads had finished eating, they were escorted back to the beach, where they put themselves back together, except for one arm each, which they gave to each other for 'safekeeping.' Alyssa had to admit that while it felt good to be back in one piece, she had actually kind of enjoyed being in pieces. She was happy that she had agreed to Loretta's proposal. Yes, she had not had a choice in the matter, but she hadn't resisted.

After Alyssa and Loretta reported back to Mark, Mark suggested that Alyssa get some sleep before she start her work proper the next day. Alyssa agreed, and she was taken to another vac bed, similar to the one that was in her room, except that it was aligned horizontally to the floor. Mark explained that when Alyssa was ready, she could experiment with sleeping in a state of modification. If she was to detach all her limbs, the vacbed would seal each one of them individually, for a rather unique sensation. Alyssa decided to just stay in her current state, albeit removing her bathing suit top.

Alyssa had not yet gotten a chance to use the vac bed in her own room yet, but she suspected this one would operate the same. Upon instruction from Mark, she slid in between the sheets and zipped herself inside with her attached arm. As the bed started to empty of air, she placed her disconnected arm to the side, where it would be sealed independent of the rest of her body.

It was a difficult sleep, considering Alyssa hadn't really slept in such a state before. She had been more horny than sleepy. Eventually tiredness for her day had taken over. But waking up had been an experience. She woke with a panic, not remembering where she was, but unable to actually move or see, which added to her confusion. It wasn't until Mark arrived forty-five minutes later to let her out that she was able to actually get up. Alyssa suspected Mark had been there for a while and was just having fun.

Alyssa put her top on, and then joined Mark and Loretta for breakfast, where she was given more details about her job. "You are to essentially act as a walking advertisement for the nbm bands. Show them off however you want, just don't let other people use them. If they want them, they need to come and buy a set from us. That's how we'll get further funding, see? You are also filling the role of beta tester, so feel free to experiment with the bands and how they work, and give us suggestions for future updates. We are scientists, and so things like fashion and aesthetics are often a foreign concept to us. We want to know what will make people want to buy our product, and exactly how the bondage resort can market this new experience to others. Got that?"

"I actually did have a technical question," Alyssa asked between mouthfuls of bacon and eggs. "What happens if I delete a limb and then I take off the band?"

"Oh, well we haven't really considered that as an option. Why would people want to do that?"

"Well, if I have the band on, I always know I can just get my limb back by spinning the ring back the other way with my free limbs. But if the ring isn't there, then that's more like a locked restraint, isn't it? I'd be unable to free myself on my own."

"Oh I see," Loretta replied. "Well, that can just be one of the things that you can test, can't it?"

"I guess so," Alyssa smiled.

"So do you have any plans for how you're going to fulfill our request?"

"Same thing as I have been doing...exploring the resort. Except now I'll just remove a limb here and there. Mix it up a bit."

"Yes, well feel free to go as far as you want."

"Hmm. While Loretta making me a torso on the beach was interesting, I don't know if I'm in a hurry to repeat that too soon."

"Understandable. But remember. The more you use the bands, the more feedback we can get."

Alyssa finished her breakfast and stood up from the desk that Mark and Loretta used as a dining table. "I'll keep that in mind. Loretta, are you joining me today?"

Loretta shook her head. "No. I need to stay here. I may be able to join you for a few hours in the afternoon though."

"Good. Follow up question, do you have any thongs I could borrow?"
