Mysterious flora

While the effects of the orgasm wore off, you slowly came back your senses. The detoxification process had left you feeling mentally alert but physically tired. Your mind began to race with dozens of questions. "How could it not be real? Everything I saw and smelled was so vivid," you asserted.

"It likely seemed that way in your mind, but you were infected by a toxin that was affecting your perception," explained the Grey doctor. "Fortunately the MPAD unit was with you, or we may not have found you in time. The MPAD unit also has a recording of the events in the lab which will hopefully help us identify the source of the toxin. If you're ready, we'd like to review that with you now."

You'd nearly forgotten about MPAD-24, but you were thankful that the robot had been alert enough to call for aid. If it recorded everything, you should be able to clear this up rather quickly. "Yes, let's do that."

Soon a replay of your time in the Feeler lab was displayed as a full-size semi-transparent overlay. It was eerie seeing a ghostly version yourself entering the room. You realized that your modified outfit, with the damaged thong serving as a band to hold up your leggings and fully exposing your crotch, made the outfit look even more like bondage-wear than before. Yet you also had to admit you looked really good wearing it. If the occupants of the Starpoint didn't mind that you wore this, maybe you'd keep the current look intact. However that was far from your main concern at this point. You needed to figure out what happened in the lab.

The doctor, two other Greys and you watched the scene replay as you inspected one of the Feeler's tentacles and then its main root. Curiously, the red-leafed bush was nowhere to be seen, but it should have been right there next to the Feeler. How was it not showing up? Eventually you saw yourself kneel next to the Feeler and soon after you placed your hand down by the soil. Afterward you had requested MPAD-24 to scan the soil in the room. Surely that would show something. "What were the results of the scan?" you asked.

The doctor motioned his hand and the replay froze before he continued, "We were wondering why you requested the scan, but here are the results." He waved his hand and this time a 2-dimensional view of the lab was displayed showing the moisture contents in the soil. All of it looked normal with a relatively high moisture content across the entire area. The area near the Feeler wasn't abnormally dry at all. This wasn't making sense.

The doctor resumed the replay, and you watched yourself bend down to look where the mysterious plant had been, but there wasn't anything there. "The red-leafed plan was right there!" you exclaimed. Eventually you saw yourself lie down and fall asleep before MPAD-24 requested assistance.

Based on the replay, you had to admit that there was no evidence of the mysterious plant. If it was all just an effect of the toxin, where did you get infected and how?
