Mutt, a canine and lowest ranked pirate on board

Short, mocked by every pirate on the Black Fang for being pretty boy and a canine of no known breed, you are known as Mutt and have to follow everyone's orders.

Korona, in particular, is your boss. The slender wolf anthro is ranked fifth on the ship and seems to have a dislike for canines. She's a harsh mistress, not above giving you a belting and very fond of making you submit, but she's kept you alive.

Today Korona seems to be in a good mood. She's dressed in one of pairs of short denim shorts, leather boots and a tight white blouse. It's an outfit that she likes and both her lovers on the Black Fang adore too. When she wears the short shorts it usually means one or both of them are about to be laid.

"Mutt!" scowled Korona without raising her voice, "Where's my lunch? It's late."

It wasn't late. Korona hadn't eaten this early in weeks. Nevertheless you know the right response, "Sorry Mistress, I'll fetch it right away."

Now it was a race. If you can hurry down to cook and grab some food in good time then you'd probably get off without reprimand. Experience tells you that if you're slow in anyway Korona would made you suffer.

Once you're out of sight of Korona's chambers you start to run. You know the route well and which passageways to take as to avoid the senior pirates.

You make the kitchen in good time.

"Idiot," the Cook greets you as always but provides you a tray for a bowl of broth, some fruit and tankard of ale." You won't be able to run at full speed carrying this but you've learned how to balance and move quickly.

You're almost back at the door to Korona's private cabin when a voice calls out; "Hey you."

This isn't good. If you acknowledge the voice you'll likely pick up another errand with a risk of delay or annoying Korona. If you don't respond, even if you didn't hear your name, then you risk annoying whoever spoke. As they're behind you, and you can't quite place the voice, you're not even sure who they are.
