The show?
Must go on.
Performance anxiety. What's that? Rough Draft v2
The atmosphere in the club was a sensory overload. Bright lights reflecting off glittering bodies, the musky scent of cologne and sweat, the thumping beat of the music vibrating through the floor. Mark found himself tightly gripping the edge of his seat, his knuckles white.
Taylor and Bella watched Mark from the corner of their eyes, exchanging occasional nods. Mark was obviously uncomfortable, but he was trying, really trying, to adapt to this environment. The fact that he wasn't lashing out, wasn't making derogatory comments, was a good sign.
As the night wore on, Mark seemed to relax bit by bit. He even made small talk with a couple of servers, and after a while, he was able to hold a conversation with a couple of patrons. It was awkward, yes, but it was progress.
And then the house lights dimmed, signaling the start of the main show. Mark visibly tensed, his shoulders stiffening. Taylor and Bella shared a look, their expressions serious.
The music swelled as the curtains on the stage drew back, revealing two silhouetted figures. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, the excitement in the room palpable.
And then, the spotlights came on, illuminating the two figures on stage. Bella's breath hitched in her throat, and Taylor's eyes widened in surprise. There, on the stage, were Natalie and Jasmine. Or rather, Natalie and Jeremy.
Mark's eyes nearly popped out of his head. He recognized them, even in their fetishized costumes. Jasmine was once again Jeremy. Natalie was there too, dressed in an outfit that screamed dominance and power.
The crowd erupted into wild cheers as the pair began their performance. Mark was frozen, his gaze locked onto the stage. He was in shock, surprise... and something else.
But for now, all they could do was watch. Watch, and see how Mark would react to this unexpected twist.
Under the bright stage lights, Natalie and Jasmine moved with practiced ease. They danced, they flirted, they teased, and the crowd ate it up. Every calculated movement, every playful smirk, every sultry glance was met with raucous cheers and applause.
As the song transitioned, Jasmine slipped from Natalie's grasp, moving to interact with the audience, while Natalie kept the center stage with her powerful presence. Jasmine, or rather Jeremy, as she was portraying tonight, moved along the front rows, a grin tugging at her lips despite the nervousness fluttering in her chest.
Her eyes scanned the audience, taking in the excited faces, the outstretched hands. As she rounded a corner of the stage, something caught her attention. Her heart skipped a beat as her eyes landed on the familiar faces of Taylor and Bella, sitting in the VIP section. And next to them, Mark.
She felt her breath hitch in her throat, her movements faltering for a moment. She shot a quick glance at Natalie who had noticed her sudden stiffness. Following her gaze, Natalie's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Mark, Bella, and Taylor in the crowd.
A quick, almost imperceptible nod passed between Natalie and Jasmine, an unspoken agreement. They had a job to do, and they were professionals. Natalie held the stage with even more intensity, drawing the crowd's attention, while Jasmine composed herself and moved to engage with the VIP section.
Tonight, they were performers, and the show must go on.
With a deep breath, Jasmine moved forward, her heart pounding but her expression steady. She met Mark's shocked gaze with a level one, offering a small smile before turning her attention to Bella and Taylor. She engaged them in light banter, her tone playful and her actions calculated for maximum allure.
Mark seemed frozen in place, his eyes wide, but he didn't cause a scene or make any derogatory remarks.
On the stage, Natalie was in her element. She dominated the audience's attention, her every move a testament to her power and control. She was a sight to behold, an intoxicating mix of strength and seduction.
When Jasmine rejoined her, they moved into the next segment of their performance. The music slowed, and the atmosphere in the room shifted. The stage lights dimmed, casting long, sensual shadows. It was time for the actual stripping.
As Natalie began to shed her layers, Jasmine followed suit. Their movements were synchronized, tantalizingly slow and deliberate. The room was silent, all eyes fixated on the stage. Natalie and Jasmine were the very picture of confidence and allure, their professionalism evident even in this unusual situation.
Despite the strange circumstances and the potential for disaster, they were determined to put on a show that no one would forget. And, judging by the audience's reaction, they were succeeding.
The moment the performance transitioned into the audience requests portion, the air became charged with anticipation. With the stage awash in a dazzling array of lights, Natalie and Jasmine moved with a practiced ease that belied the tension they both felt.
Money was being tossed onto the stage, accompanied by shouted suggestions and requests. Amidst the cacophony of voices, Natalie and Jasmine stayed focused, adhering strictly to their agreed-upon boundaries. They used the props and equipment they had brought with them, skillfully improvising to accommodate as many requests as possible while still maintaining their own comfort and safety.
Throughout the performance, Mark's expression fluctuated between shock, confusion, and a growing interest. He watched as Jasmine and Natalie moved together, their interactions a stark contrast to the ideas he had held onto for so long.
As the performance continued, Mark felt a rush of memories. He was back in his small hometown, a young man of eighteen, filled with questions about his own sexuality. The only openly gay man in town had been his only hope for answers, but before he could get any, the man had been run out of town. His father had been the one to incite the outrage, claiming that the man was corrupting the younger generation.
The memory was a painful one, but it was also enlightening. Mark finally understood the root of his homophobia and self-hatred. He had been conditioned to fear and despise a part of himself. The realization was a heavy one, but it also came with a sense of relief.
As he watched Natalie and Jasmine on stage, he found himself not just tolerating the performance, but actually enjoying it. The feeling was strange, unfamiliar, but not unwelcome. His theoretical questions about his own sexuality were being answered in a way he had never anticipated, and he knew he would have a lot to unpack in the coming days and weeks.
The show came to an end amidst a roar of applause and whistles from the thrilled audience. The VIP tickets, however, included an additional perk – an opportunity to share a drink or two in the green room with the headliners after the show. As Natalie and Jasmine wrapped up their performance and exited the stage, they were surprised to find that the only people waiting for them were Taylor, Bella, and Mark.
Leo, the club's owner, pulled them aside before they entered the room. He had a calculating look on his face, but his words were unexpectedly kind.
"I decided to give you a bit of a break," he said, his tone gruff but not unkind. "I swapped out some of the VIP tickets for later shows, so it'll just be the five of you in there. No need to entertain a crowd."
Natalie and Jasmine exchanged a glance, both of them taken aback. This was a deviation from what they had been expecting, but a welcome one.
Leo continued, "Don't worry about owing me anything for this. Consider it a freebie. Just a little reminder that I'm not as bad as I might seem sometimes. I do look out for our community, even if I can be a bit of an asshole about it."
With that, he gave them a nod and gestured towards the green room. Still slightly stunned, Natalie and Jasmine thanked him and headed inside, bracing themselves for the next part of their night. Little did they know, it would prove to be just as eventful, if not more, than the performance itself.
Green Room are sound proof right?
