Mumbo Jumboed Argent

"Has a bit of a problem..." My arms encircle her waist lovingly as I quirk an eyebrow. "What sort of problem?" Raven purrs softly at my loving touch before nuzzling into my chest. "She had a run in with Mumbo Jumbo." I chuckle softly at her odd choice of villains and how she was currently speaking into my chest as she pushed her head deeper into me. "You mean the weirdo with blue skin who tries to be a Loony Tunes character?"

Raven nods into my chest before pushing herself up again. "Normally Mumbo's magic reverts when his wand is broken but..." My hand starts to trace a light swirl pattern on the small of her back. "Something went wrong?" Raven shudders in pleasure but huffs out her response in an annoyed tone. "Yes, something happened. Something stupid happened as a result of Argents alien dna not liking Mumbo's spells."

"You sound like this upsets you... Did something happen?" She grumbles in a rather cute tone as she looks away from me. "N-Not really, it's just that stupid spell is resistant to almost EVERY book in my possession!" My calm demeanor is broken as I spy tears forming in Ravens eyes. "I....I tried so hard to cure her.."

"Shh....it's ok Rae, I'm sure she understands that things like this happen." Pulling her to my chest again quelled her rising emotions. To further ice down her anguish I started to stroke her soft purple hair very gently. "Rest now Rae, you can finish telling me about her in the morning." Raven doesn't answer me vocally, but the way she cuddled up to me was just enough.
