Ms. Naylor with an appointment

"Mr. Carter, Coach Watts, if I can interrupt for a moment," You look up to see Headmistress Naylor standing at your table looking at the two of you. "I have informed Dean Hawkfeather of the behaviour of the three girls who disrupted Ms. Wilder's practice. I expect that he may ask you to provide some testimony as to what you witnessed. I'm sure he'll be in touch shortly."

You nod, and see a flickering glance pass between Brian and the austere Ms. Naylor. It vanishes almost as soon as it exists, but you have a sense of some heat between the two, and you suppress a smile at the thought of Brian winning the heart of the very serious headmistress. With her message delivered, Ms. Naylor wishes the table a brisk good morning and strides away.

"What was that about?" Lorri asks.

"Three girls were drunk or stoned or both at Ms. Wilder's cheer practice," you explain. "We took them to see Ms. Naylor so she didn't have to interrupt her practice. Ms. Naylor decided to send them to Dean Hawkfeather for discipline after they sobered up."

"Let me guess," Donna Considine says with a shake of her head. "Rina Duncan, Bethany Adamson and Briana Lloyd. Were they just drunk, or had they been doing Ecstasy?"

"Both would be my guess," you answer. "I take it this isn't the first time for them."

"Not even close. I think they've bribed one of the custodial staff to get the **** for them, maybe the liquor too. I doubt that they're buying in town."

"Wouldn't put it past the three of them to pay the guy off in jelly roll," Lorri snorts. "Those three would give it up for candy bars. Don't see them here so they're probably still sleeping it off. Or getting loaded again. That Dean might have his hands full with those three, if he goes to paddle their bare asses. They'll be all over him like ugly on an ape, wanting his dick."

You smile at her earthy imagery, remembering the girls you met and and thinking she's likely right.
