Chapter 8 by Phantompen Phantompen

Does Yuki see a chance to flee, or is she stuck in her hiding spot?

Ms. Micheli's rear. She stops stroking and runs out of sight

Ms. Micheli had finally turned around! Now was her only chance. Knowing her window of opportunity was small, Yuki darted off to the side street as fast as her legs would carry her. Forgoing modesty in favor of speed, Yuki's arms pumped at her sides, leaving her full bouncing glory open to the sun and fresh air.

It was the sight of a parked car that brought Yuki's brain back to rationality, and she realized that while she might have escaped the school, she was heading into more densely populated areas. At the moment, the side street was empty, but there was no telling when a building's door might open, or a car might speed down the street. Suddenly paralyzed at the fear of potential tragedy, Yuki's body felt hypersensitive. She could feel the caress of the gentlest breeze, the pounding of her heart, the slight tremors of her shaking, she could hear the sounds of cars further down the block.

Cars! There was a car coming this way! Yuki had to get out of sight, fast, or else at least one person would get an eyeful. Her eyes darting around, Yuki spied two potential hiding places, neither of them pleasant. Nearest to her was a garbage can, large enough for her to fit inside, but unlikely to be comfortable or pleasant. Twice as far away, a building had a row of bushes decorating its front. The idea of sharp branches, dirt, and goodness knows what people might have thrown in the bushes carelessly were certainly unappealing, but the bushes were thick enough to obscure her from view.

Having only seconds to decide, Yuki made up her mind and raced for-

Which hiding spot does Yuki go for? How does it work out for her?
