Mrs. Donovan's class

When you arrive at Mrs. Donovan's class, you see Ethan conferring with her in the front of the class in low tones. She gives you a sharp glance over her glasses when you come in and a tight smile when she sees you. You take your seat and sit quietly waiting for class to begin. Ethan finishes his conversation with Mrs. Donovan and takes his seat as well.

"Okay, class," she begins. "Time to turn in your homework. Parker, Ethan explained to me the situation and I'm going to let it pass this time. I would like you to stay after class, though."

When class is over, you approach Mrs. Donovan and Ethan joins you. "Parker, Ethan is going to be serving detention after school today since he claims it's his fault you didn't get your homework done. I would like you to attend as well, if you please. Be in my office promptly after school lets out." You nod and agree, wondering what this is all about.
