Jorgen’s mouth opened and closed a few times as Adam and Amy waved before getting into Zoe’s car outside. Almost everything else had already been loaded in a moving truck earlier that week. “I have to say… it is a bit of an adjustment,” Adam sighed. Rudy smirked at him. As the oldest, he’d been the first of the group to become an Alpha. “Back there, free use starts at 18.”

Brendan nodded, sympathetically. “But there are obviously… shall we say… compensations?”

Never outright defying his mother, but quietly arranging things, getting dinner ready, fixing an issue he noticed with her car, things like that.

“Oh shit, guys, I’m late!” Adam exclaimed looking at his phone. “Alpha classes. You guys feel free to stay in the room, I gotta go!” The other three looked at his departing figure and laughed.

“Who does he have?” Asked Rudy.

“Martin, I think,” said Jackson.

“Aren’t you in her class too?”

Brendan paled and started running after Adam, the other two laughing their asses off.
