Movie night

"How about we watch a movie?" It's certainly not the worst suggestion. Actually seems like a good idea. I give a shrug and walk over to grab the remote. "No, no. Not just any old movie." Ricky walks over and grabs the remote out of my hand. I hadn't noticed until now but he's a lot taller than me. I know I shrunk with the transformation but now even he is several inches taller than me. And despite being a lanky guy, now that I'm a woman, he's probably stronger too. "I've got something you have got to see. Let me grab it from my car." He turns on his heels and heads out the door. I'm tempted to just lock it and call it a day, but I'm trying to get along for Jason. I'm doing this for Jason. It's almost 10 minutes later when he finally comes back in. But rather than a DVD or a USB Rick is carrying a laptop. Scrunch up my face at the idea of looking at that little screen when we've got my TV right here. "Can't we just use the TV?" Seems the obvious choice. "Nah, this thing is special. Can't find it online. Trust me, you'll see." For fuck sake. This better not be some stupid indie film where all the dialogue is a language the director made up and all the scenes are upside down or some shit. Meanwhile, Ricky is setting up his laptop on the coffee table in front of the couch and it looks like he's got something in his eyes… "What's that?" I say pointing at the device he has. He brings a hand up to one ear, checking to see if that's what I'm talking about. "Just wireless earbuds. Better sound quality. I've got some for you too." He plugs in a set of headphones and passes them to me. I pop them on and notice that they have some sound dampening built-in. I can hardly hear anything else. Ricky hits play on the video and soon these weird shapes and colors appear on the screen. There's also a weird humming coming from these headphones. Figures Ricky would give me a busted set. But even though there seems to be nothing happening on the screen I can't seem to look away. Just a continuous swirl with flashes every now and again. Over and over and over and over an…

I come to when the video cuts off. Damn, guess I must have spaced out. Can't believe that Jason left me here his Ricky. He's such a… Well, I guess he's not so bad. Just cause he's not as buff as Jason. Not everyone has that sort of build or can work out as often as Jason does. I kind of think he's cute. Hold on… What? What's that ringing in my ears? "How did you enjoy it, Tracey?" Tracey? Oh, yeah. I'm pretending to be Jason's girlfriend. Yuck. If he tried as hard to get a girlfriend as he did at the gym I wouldn't be in this situation. "Tracey?" I look up to see Ricky with a charming smile, still waiting on a response. "Uhh... It was alright. I don't think I understood it." God, I must seem so dumb right now. Just some stupid chick his friend is dating. Though I'm sure he's used to it. Being as handsome as he is and having girls embarrass themselves around him. "That's okay. We can watch it again later. I can explain anything you don't get. Could you grab me another beer sweet cheeks?" That's good. At least he's up for watching it again. He must really like it. I'll have to pay closer attention this time. And acting so flirty? Maybe it's a good thing Jason had to leave. Give me more time to get to know Ricky. "Sure, I'll be right back." It's only a short minute before I return to find him working away on his laptop. As he notices me he shuts the lid, grabs the beer, and pats the spot next to him on the couch. Well, it would be rude to ignore such a kind offer. As I sit Ricky seems to be looking me over. Is he checking me out? I can feel my face blush at the thought of it. "So how are things with you and Jason?" My eyes go wide as a deer in headlights at the question. Did he figure out what was going on? Of course, he did. Just my luck that he's smart as well as hot. "We're not even a real couple. I'm just pretending to be his girlfriend." Ricky exclaims loudly at his suspicions being proven correct, jumping up and strutting around the room. "I knew it! Is he paying you?" I scoff at his suggestion. "No. I was doing him a favor. It was my idea actually but…" Why did I go along with this in the first place? Sure, we're 'brothers' but I hardly even see him anymore. This is the most time we've spent together in ages. It's like he only comes around when he needs something, just uses me. He's just some meathead and I can't think why I would have agreed to help him. "You know what Ricky, forget him. He's stupid. Did you want to maybe watch that movie again?" A smile breaks out on his face. Awesome! He must like I'm taking an interest in it. And this time I'm not going to zone out. Yeah. But Ricky is pretty smart so if he likes it I may still not understand it. I'll just do my best and I can always ask him if I don't get it. "Sounds good Tracey, but how about you fix us a snack while I get it ready?" And just like that, I head to the kitchen to make Ricky a sandwich.
