Movie night with friends

“Ok, let´s see here. I got The Grudge, but no... The last time we watched Poltergeist, Harako kept explaining how the spirits were acting unrealistically. I don’t want another ghost lesson.”

“…Not my fault the ghosts weren´t behaving as they should,” Harako remarked.

“Yeah, because that´s what´s important in horror movies. Now, our oneiros here had a suggestion … A Nightmare on Elm Street?!”

“Yeah, it has nightmare in the title. How cool is that?” replied the blonde dream spirit, the cool one of the trio and the only one willing to hang out with Kim after work.

“I will smash my phone before showing that movie to you or any of your sisters. What else… well, Jira doesn´t want to watch another Disney movie after Peter Pan…”

“How can you joke with fairy genocide?” Jira said with an indignant flutter of her wings.

Kim´s thumb kept swiping her phone screen. “…Which means the only movie we have left today is… The Lord of the Rings Special Extended Edition? Hope you girls, and, err, wind elemental…” the globe of green light that illuminated the room made a happy high-pitched sound, almost like a boiling kettle. “… are ready for almost four hours of fantasy adventure!”

There was a collective shrug of “I guess” in the members of the little group. Good enough for Kim, she connected her phone to the only projector in the palace, a haunted piece of memorabilia from a burned-down cinema. As the movie began, Kim ran back to the group and rolled herself up in a blanket to enjoy movie night…
