Move

Scratching her head and looking to her left, a telltale sign for anyone that knew her, meant she had some sort of an idea or plan. Quickly she looked around for any sort of natural light then spotted the candles, their wicks low and the light beginning to flicker more as the wax pooled around the flame, she knew that she would be in complete darkness soon unless she managed to save the wicks a little.

Shakingly getting to her feet and aiming for one of the candles, Sarah felt her knees buckle. Staring in bewildermeant as the room seemed to tilt to the side she stumbled forwards bare foot with her mind an absolute haze of confusion and disorientated, before falling sideways into a mudpacked, brick wall.

Groaning and trying to push off the wall, she looked down at her bare legs that had seemingly forgotten how to hold her up right before swallowing hard in her dry mouth and steadying herself by the wall, she took one step forwards then felt the earth begin to shake.

Making a dart for the single, solitary door and looking to hide under the doorway as she feared it was an earth quake, the loud sound groaning through the room as if a steamroller was about to burst through the wall. Grabbing either side of her head and irrationally returning to the youthful idea that if you couldn't see it, it wouldn't see you, Sarah shielded her eyes and covered her face whilst hunkering down onto her ass.

The earth tremored and two of the five candles blew out making it quite dark but the sound was somewhat familiar, it grinded then rattled. She knew this sound and as quick as it had began it was slowly and mournfully droning out.

"The hospital?" She said, her eyes looking up at the ceiling again with only three halos of light flickering and shining upon it now, the flickering playing mindgames with her vision as strange and horrific looking shadows to form and began to fill her imagination.
