What's next?
Mother forgot how to use a toilet again
As the mother reached the bathroom, her hand instinctively grasped the doorknob, turning it with a soft click. The door creaked open, revealing the dimly lit space within. The mother's eyes, still fixed on some unseen point, seemed to unfocus as she stepped inside, her movements becoming increasingly mechanical.
Her gaze drifted towards the toilet, and for a moment, she simply stared at it, her expression a mask of confusion. Her eyes narrowed, as if trying to recall something, but her face remained blank. The gentle, rumbling sensation in her lower intestines continued to build, but she seemed oblivious to it, her attention fixed on the toilet.
The mother's mechanical movements finally registered in her mind, and she slowly turned away from the toilet, her gaze drifting towards the bathroom door. Her hand, still grasping the doorknob, seemed to release its grip of its own accord, and the door creaked open once more. The mother's feet, still moving with a stiff, unnatural gait, carried her back into the kitchen, where Ms. Thompson and the girls were waiting.
As she entered the kitchen, the mother's eyes, still unfocused, drifted towards the table, and her hand, seemingly moving of its own accord, reached out to grasp the edge of the tablecloth.
