Mother and daughter are flogged

The next morning, Alice and Regina were led out the dungeon and to the very same whipping post where Regina had her elf slaves flogged. The two women were both tied to opposite ends of it. Jormund and Daenerys stood watching.

"This is madness" shouted Regina, "I demand to be released at once"

"A mortal dares give orders to a dragon" said Jormund, "you may be of royal blood but you are still a mortal. Begin the flogging"

Two guards went behind Regina and Alice with whips.

"I'm sorry, princess" said the one standing behind Alice.

CRACK!

Alice screamed in pain as did Regina.

CRACK!

Daenerys looked away.

CRACK!

"I'll kill you" screamed Regina.

CRACK!

Alice didn't say anything.

CRACK!

The pain hurt her incredibly but Alice didn't mind.

CRACK!

After her actions had caused Tarena to be whipped a decade ago, the princess felt she deserved it.

CRACK!

"Please, no more!" cried regina.

CRACK!

By the end of the whipping, Regina was sobbing. Alice was crying tears of joy. Her guilt was finally alleviated.

"Thanks you" Alice said to the guard, "you don't know how long I need that"

"Why did you do that?" Daenerys asked.

"Mortals need to learn their place" said Jormund, "also, anyone can dominate a peasant but to dominate a royal, to have her stripped naked and whipped like a disobedient animal, that is true power"
