Mother-Daughter Pageant

Sam's high school had a tradition, towards the end of the school year, senior girls and their moms would have a pageant to raise money for the senior trip. It was voluntary, and the mother-daughter duos would perform a talent such as singing, dancing, musical instruments, etc then they would have an evening gown walk down a runway. The winner would get a prize of a $200 spa day and a $100 gift card to a steakhouse. Second place were gift cards for half of first place, and third place would get $50. There was also a trophy and tiaras for the winners.

This year it was going to be very competitive thanks to some helicopter moms.
