"Everything's going to be perfectly normal today," Tanya tells herself as she makes her way to school. "Completely normal day of kicking ass and ruling the school."

She meant it. The first thing Tanya did when she woke up was to pull her most stylish outfit out of the closet. She'd planned to save it for a special occasion, but she wasn't going to make the same mistake as yesterday and wear something Whitney could say was out of fashion. After getting dressed she spent 30 minutes longer than usual doing her hair and make up for a school day. She growls at herself in the mirror. Tanya was ready for a fierce day putting herself back on top.

She chose a different path to school so she could avoid the construction and the sketchy alley. This new route put her a bit behind schedule but she made it a few minutes before the homeroom bell. It gave her just enough time to find Maggie and drop off her jacket. "Alright, Tanya," she says to herself, "time to make it clear to the creepy girl that you aren't friends." She approached the door to the drama costume room. That was where most of the artsy students would hang out before and between class. As Tanya reaches for the door she whispers, "walk into the room, throw the jacket at her, tell her thanks but no thanks for the stinky rat trap, and don't even think twice about her sexy, kissable lips." Tanya gasps and her hand freezes on the doorknob. She repeats the plan again and once again she finishes with "sexy, kissable lips."

the confidence deflates out of Tanya like a nail in a tire. Instead, she feels herself feeling flustered and nervous, like she was about to run into a crush. Her desire to put Maggie in her place was replaced with a craving to passionately kiss her. The door opens from the other side practically knocking Tanya down and snapping her out of the shock.

"Sorry, excuse me," a boy says as he pushes past Tanya. She looks into the room and sees Maggie sitting with some of the drama kids. They make eye contact and Maggie's smile turns to a grimace and a huff. Tanya knows this because her eyes swiftly move down to Maggie's mouth. She feels her tongue run along her lips to moisten them.

"Oh thank god," Maggie says, "I was getting worried that you burned it or something." The emo girl waves at Tanya who's frozen staring at her. "Hello? Oh no, you did burn it, didn't you?"

Tanya shakes her head. "Oh, n-no, sorry, it's right here." She steps into the room and digs the jacket out of her book bag. She holds it out for Maggie who stands up and starts crossing the room. Tanya bites her bottom lip as the girl approaches. She doesn't understand what's happening. She's never been attracted to another girl and if she ever was she'd never be into someone like the Witch. Yet, as Maggie's hand grabs the jacket all Tanya can think about is wrapping her arms around her and giving a deep, hungry kiss.
