Morphogenetic Field

A Morphogenetic Field, at least in the DC universe, linked a being with the power of a living things. The two biggest and most well known being The Red (Which connects with powers over animals) and the Green (which connects with powers over plants). But many other exist depending on life, from elemental to technological to microbiology.

Already many people have powers linked with these fields, villains and heroes. But what if other characters gained such powers? Or gained connections to more then one? Had their powers enhanced? Or this structure was added to worlds without them, like Marvel for example?
