Another suggestion came in.

Modify her freeze trigger so that certain parts of her body will freeze.

"Okay, Kaitlyn, when I snap my fingers, you will unfreeze, but your trigger is now modified so that if I tell a specific part of your body to freeze, only that part will freeze. So if I say 'right arm freeze' only your right arm would freeze. If I don't specify a body part, your whole body and mind will freeze like it is now."

I snapped my fingers, and Kaitlyn resumed talking to the chat.
