Ichigo gazed at Rukia, before nodding. "Alright, fine, but if you look like you need some help, I will step in," he answered, standing next to her body with the artificial soul in it.

"Lady Rukia won't need it, hop!" the soul replied.

"..."hop?"" Ichigo blinked, but Rukia had already dashed forward to meet her opponent, who blocked her initial swing of her blade on his hand.

"I'm Arrancar No. 16, D-Roy," the Arrancar stated.

"I'm-" Rukia started, but he raised another hand.

"Don't bother. I don't waste time learning the names of those I kill," D-Roy stated, making her eye twitch.

"Presumptuous," she stated, jumping back. "But fine. Then at least learn the name of my sword," she replied, turning it in front of her. "Dance, Sode no Shirayuki!" Ichigo felt the temperature literally drop as her blade turned pure white. It was actually lovely to look at. D-Roy prepared for her next attack as she readied herself. "Dance 1: Tsukishiro!" she declared, flourishing her sword in a circular manner.

A white circle glowed beneath D-Roy's feet, and ice began creeping up. "What the!?" he demanded, before smirking as he believed he had her figured out, and jumped straight up, breaking the ice that had crawled up his legs. "Hah! Too bad, Soul Reaper!" he cackled as he pulled the bandages on his Hollow Mask aside, charging up a Cero from the eye hole. "The sky is my domain, and a sword that freezes the ground? Not much good in aerial combat!"

Rukia stared up at him flatly as the circle kept glowing, before... A pillar of white light erupted upward engulfing D-Roy. "Actually, Tsukishiro doesn't just freeze the ground. Everything within the circle, including directly above it, is within its domain," Rukia explained dryly as the light faded, revealing a pillar of ice, with D-Roy frozen within it. The pillar then cracked and shattered into tiny pieces, its prisoner included.

"...whoa," Ichigo stared.
