More than Naruto's copy, actually!

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Hinata declared, attempting the Jutsu again after having taken a full five minutes to muster as much chakra as possible after having tried a couple other times over the last couple of hours. With a burst of smoke, a Shadow Clone appeared next to her... Still looking sickly and exhausted, but not looking like she was on ****'s door at least.

"...hey, not bad, that's a massive improvement," Naruto's copy's clone nodded. "I mean, I had it pretty much mastered at around this point, but I'm pretty sure that that's just because I have naturally high chakra reserves, and like I said, the opposite problem as you."

Hinata panted and nodded. "...should I try again?" she asked, but the clone shook his head.

"No, I think that's enough... Shadow Clones are pretty chakra intensive, and you've already used up most of yours to get this far," he told her, clearly a little concerned. "But you should still have enough left to try to... Crinkle a leaf, right?" he asked, turning his head to Anko, who nodded.

Hinata nodded, reluctantly agreeing, but at least Naruto wasn't insisting she stop training altogether. She didn't much like fighting, but she also didn't want to be so weak that she would be an easy target to get to her loved ones. Especially her Master. She picked up a leaf and got to work, idly listening as the magical copies of Naruto and Anko talked about plans.

"I could just eat the cost of paying for a meal for Team Ten, even if Choji is on it," Naruto's copy noted. "It's not like I'm hurting for cash, Pervy Sage and my original did plenty of odd jobs while on the road."

"It's fine, Kurenai owes me a favor or two anyway," Anko waved him off. "Though, honestly, I'm a little surprised that the pervert didn't teach you any elements while you were gone... Actually, what DID he teach you?"

"Some tactics with my clones, how to make the Rasengan bigger, how to dispel genjutsu, some basic sealing arts, improving my physical fitness and movement speed, a few tricks with Summoning, and polishing my taijutsu and shuriken and kunai throwing," Naruto ticked off his fingers. "And some other basic stuff about being a ninja."

"... that's it?" Anko asked skeptically. "You trained with the old pervert for a little over two years, and that's all you got out of it? The guy trained the Fourth Hokage for crying out loud!" she stated, throwing her hands up.

"Hey, in our defense, there were some difficulties with the training!" Naruto pouted, crossing his arms. "For example, we had to redo my taijutsu basically from scratch! Pretty much all of my Academy instructors whose name wasn't Iruka gave me deliberately bad instructions on the katas to perform, which is a huge part of why I was sloppy with it before! I was better off fighting like a berserker, that's how bad it was! Not to mention that my chakra reserves are so high that proper chakra control is hard, which made getting dispelling genjutsu to a sufficient level a real pain in the ass... Then Pervy Sage got the bright idea to try training me to control the Nine Tails. That went horribly wrong, left him badly injured, as well as me, and cost us two months of training time."

"...okay, that does make it a little more understandable," Anko sighed. "Still, it's a good thing you thought of using Shadow Clones, because you have some catching up to do."
