“Lucy Chesterton…” Chantelle said grabbing the bridge of her nose and sighing. “How did you not see that the director was so closely involved with this?”

“Look I’m sorry…I never would have guessed our investor was the director in a million years!” Lucy said with an embarrassed tone. “Don’t stare at me like that, Lexie…”

“Like what exactly?” Lexie said with a fake grin but an intense stare that could drill a hole through solid concrete

“Babe, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that look before on you,” Tania said as she rubbed her shoulder.

“This is absolutely the fucking worst thing that could have happened! We literally have been fighting this fucker for years and just when I thought we might have a leg up we somehow all signed a contract that may actually be worse than Naked Ambition/ Forever! How did I miss this as the legal representation for the glitches…” Lexie said as she put her head in her hands.

“Look if anyone is too blame, it definitely is not you Lex! You were kinda a frog statue,” Cassie added in as she seemed as stoic as usual.

“How are you just so okay with this, Cass?”

“Well shit always finds a way to hit the fan. I have been expecting something to go wrong since we beat Rebecca. We still have Mel’s contact but even I’m not so sure that magic can save us from these contracts. What do you think, Barb?”

“We might actually be in trouble here,” Barbie said in her casual tone instead of her upbeat peppy one. “The fact that we are contracted again means the Director has control over us again. Sadly he also does for the new girls like Tania and Chelsea…”

“Wait you mean I’m actually contracted with that asshole!?” Tania asked as she held Lex’s hand tightly. “I had only been hired to spy with no strings attached…”

“Still not late to run away, Toadsworth,” Lexie said giving her hand a squeeze.

“Nah I’m good, Sexy Lexie! I couldn’t be happier despite the strenuous circumstances,” Tania said resting her head on Lexie’s shoulder.

Sophie felt a familiar tinge of fear…she could feel the grasp of someone that she was going to be targeting her again. She grabbed Abi’s hand as she said, “I’m worried, Ab…”

“Don’t worry we will protect you!” Abi said reassuringly.

“Nooo…this feels like what happened with Charlie and Rebecca…I’m having that bad feeling again…” Sophie said as she began to sob.

Mel stood up as the fear in the others voices was making her want to bring some light to the overall darkness. She clapped her hands as she said, “I know it feels rather hopeless but I do have one more trump card. I can’t tell you too much but just know that my associate is very thorough. He is still heavily invested in us and truthfully just needs time. We do have to put up with this show…unfortunately for now.”

Chantelle stood up next to her and said, “it’s gonna be rough but it won’t be something we haven’t faced before together. It may feel different for a few of us but we have dealt with not being in control before. Let’s just trust Mel’s contact and trust that they will help us again. I urge us to avoid punishments since we know how twisted that man is so it may suck but we have to do the love shack as well as anything else we are ****. Now let’s get back to our rooms and stick with the plan!”
