More patrons enter the diner...

“Just admit it, Elle. You always talked about him so dreamily. You always had this, faraway look. Remember our first time? What did I whisper to you to calm your nerves.”

Ellen blushes, “To imagine it was Scott. Just like earlier tonight.”

“Exactly. Here comes our food.” The waitress delivers the food, then walks away. “So now that that is all out in the open, what are we doing tonight?"

Before any of you could reply the door to the diner opened with a jingle. Amy look over to see a tall brunette walk into the diner. Behind the tall brunette is a taller guy, and then comes a redhead girl, the shortest, of the trio, though only by an inch. "Huh, looks like she did it again." Amy mutters at the sight.

"So is this the place?" The brunette asks the red head.

The redhead nods, "Yeah it's got the best burgers for a long distance that's for sure."

The brunette nods once then grabs the tall lanky man's hand and walks over to a booth right behind Amy. She smiles at Amy, "Hey." Then she pauses with a blink, "What...what are you staring at? Do...do I have something in my teeth? Bryan check." The girl says and bares her teeth at the man.

The guy shakes his head, "Kate, she's just dumbstruck by your beauty."

You can't help but notice that the girl is very, very pretty, though you would put her in a very, very close third behind Ellen and Amy. The other red head walks over to the booth with three menus. She looks over at Amy, "Well, old home week, huh?"

Amy smiles, "Newest pairing, Jas?"

The other nods with a wide easy smile, "My best work yet. Amy, this is Kathryn. Kathryn, Amy." The brunette smiled and held her hand out over the booth's back. Amy lightly took it, and was a bit surprised by the girls grip.

Kathryn giggles, "Sorry. I'm from Football USA...we don't do those dainty ladylike handshakes. As my really big brother says, if you're going to shake a hand, shake it like you mean it.

You nod at that, and feel like you could get to like the girl. But something about the way Amy asked if that was this 'Jas' newest pairing told you that this Bryan was Kathryn's boyfriend.

"No apologies necessary, Kathryn. None at all. So where are you from? And how long did it take Jasmine here to get to you?"

"Thirty seconds. How about you Bryan?"

"I don't even think it was that long."

Jasmine laughs, "About twenty. I have to say that they are my crowning achievement. But anyway, Amy, I haven't seen you in...since the end of spring break last year."

"I'm surprised you remember me."

"You are not easy to forget. And who's tasty looking blond there?"

"How rude of me. Ellen, this is Jasmine. She's my new roommate. And this is her...I don't know...childhood crush...Scott."

Jasmine turns to you and Ellen taking the both of you in at the same time, "Oh, ho. Amy are you following in my footsteps?"

Amy looks at her fellow red head in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"I think they're perfect for each other." Jasmine said, scaring you out of your wits. She sounded so sure of herself that you and Ellen looked at each other. How could she tell just by looking at the two of you. Amy had called Kathryn and Bryan her 'newest pairing.' That would mean that their were more before them. "I see many children and a nice happy life for the two of you. So long as Amy can have her fun." Jasmine says finishing with a wink.
