Molly Offers to Baby Her

After another long day of gig-pigging, Sharon McGee seemed apt to collapse. She sighed as she got home and settled down on the couch.

Right now, Pete, Daryl, and Scratch were away on a guys' trip between Brighton and Perfectburg, so Sharon and Molly had the house all to themselves.

When Molly got home after a date with her boyfriend Ollie, she was as happy and energetic as ever. But she quickly noticed that her mother was in a less jovial mood. "You alright, Mom?" she asked.

"Yeah, honey," Sharon replied, though her tone betrayed her words. "It's just been a really long day, taking whatever jobs I could to pay off that car payment."

Molly frowned and made her way over to her mother. "I'm sorry. I should have gone with you today."

"Don't be silly, sweetie," Sharon countered, "You're young. You should get to have a life of your own. Speaking of which, how's Ollie doing?"

"He's perfect, as ever," Molly gushed dreamily. "But don't change the subject. You are clearly exhausted." All of a sudden, her eyes lit up. "Hey, how about I help you relax?"

"Really? How?" Sharon asked.
